I'm a senior in high school and for most of my time in school I've wanted to be friends with this one group in particular but I always felt held back. Mianly because I felt obligated to be friends with people who kind of attached to me and wouldn't really have any friends if it weren't for me. But anyway they all seem to have moved away or lost interest in me so at the end of last year I decided that the next year I would not worry about it so much, that I would try not to feel guilty because I had been held back for so many years and figured its senior year I should try to enjoy it as much as I can and make up for lost time. But anyway, I'm so shy that even though they seemed to be very friendly and seemed to give me an opening to be friends with them, I couldn't do it and nothing ever came of it. I tried getting a myspace to talk with them over the internet to show that I wanted to open up a little and stay in touch but i couldn't take the stress and got rid of it, I think upsetting them a little in the process, they were happy I got one. I recently got it back, but the stress is just killing me again and I think I'm getting rid of it again soon. Anyway, the last few months nothing really happened with this group A, but then another girl i like from group B worked on a project with me and one day asked me to sit at lunch with them for one day. I did for the one day but didn't want to look like I had chosen one group over the other because group A has been equally inviting over the years, so I just stopped going to lunch. This has complicated things so much and I just feel trapped. It's made my depression a lot worse, and lately, where I used to try to mingle in groups, I just sit by myself and don't talk, and I'm probably ruining my chances of having friends, but it's gotten to the point where I can't honestly say I care if I'm friends with them sometimes, but other times it just kills me, like when I see pictures of them together and think of what I could've had it makes me so depressed. THIS IS WHAT I THINK I"M GOING TO DO. I'm just getting ready to give up on the whole thing, since I only have a few months to go. Do you think I should do that?

i need to show my boyfriend that i'm not as easy as he thinks i am, weve been going out for 3 months now and he's given me 3 insulting gifts throughout our relationship, i don't know why he treats me like this but i need to show him he can't get sex as easy anymore, the last gift was an awful color scarf set looks like a little childs. right now i want to show him that i'm a different person i told him i didn t like the gift but he didnt even care!

I have been dating a guy for 1 1/2 months. we have known each other for a couple of years. This past summer he began inquring about me to mutual friends. He finally asked me out the end of Oct.
He owns a catering bussiness and resturant. Well..he is really busy with work this time of year. But I have not heard from him in 1 week. I text him "Merry Christmas" and he text the same back.But last week he had left a voice message saying he 'cares' just very busy with work. Is it possible to be that busy? Or is he just not that interested? Should I call or wait for him to call?I have tried to be cool and paitent and respectful of the fact that he is busy...but when and where do I draw the line?

i had a bad break up 4 years ago, we have a child. that was my first heatbreak, at age 29. Before that I used to just "have friends". Since that break up I continued my life style with lots of "firends" and it was fine, to fake it until I made it through, what seemed like devastation. Well 1.5 years ago i met "the one" he is truly, who i am meant to be with, I thought. he just broke up with me about 1 month ago. He wants to be friends and has admitted to loving me, but can't be with me, and he loves my son (I beleive that's why he stays my friend) So Christmas was the final straw for me, being "friends". So now this pain is very different from when I split with my son's father, that was the first time and it was tragic, and I dealt with it,by filling the void with other men. I am getting too old for that, but I just don't want sit around alone with a broken heart, because this time it's burning, because I still see this man in my future.

well..it's been more than a year when i broke up with my boyfriend. Everything's fine but i kinda miss having a boyfriend and i wanna find someone new..but i have my qualifications of course..somehow i want someone with good looks. I'm kind of having a hard time looking for one. I have known this woman for 1 1/2 months and we have been talking about moving in together. I am madly in love with her and I know that she is in love with me. We talked about it and since I am always at her house, we figured it was a waste to keep my apartment and pay rent and utilities when I am not even there. My lease runs out January 31, so by the time we would be completely moved in together we would know eachother 3 months. I have never been happier in a relationship and she tells me she can't stand to think of waking up or going to sleep without me. Everything about out relationship feels right so I think this would be a good move...you only live once right? Is it worth the risk?

Okay, I am now 20 years old. My mother left when I was 2 years old. she never paid child support. We recently got in contact with each other and now she chooses to stay out of my life. I feel as though since she does not want to be in my life anymore then she needs to pay backpay for child support. Oh yeah I have a brother also, she left him also. My father has raised us both, and we r fine but I feel as though since she wants no part in our life then she should help out in some sort of way. Am I wrong for trying to take her for child support allthough I am now 20. I would also like to know how do I go about filing? I dont know who to call, or anything, please help me! Also the reason why I dont know what or how to do it is because she lives in Texas and I live in Maryland... so what do I do?

tells your best friends... oh i can get back with her (me) in a second all i have to do is call her and we would be goin out again ........what should i do cause this is not true whatsoever he is a jerk and thinks so highly of himself but noone likes him and hes an insesntive jerk,...should i confront him and be like i would never dream of going out with you again or just like ignore him because if i talk to him ill be giving him attention and he may think i still care which i dont he just freakign frustrates me.

and they went and told someone else whom they knew would tell the family member what you told them, which would automaticly cause conflict in your family,because it was related to some type of drug abuse among other things that the family member is doing.Would you stop dealing with the friend because they have caused big problems in your family?

My girlfriend and i had been dating for about 6 months. She dumped me on my birthday and said she had never liked me and was still in love with her ex. About a week later she comes back and says she wants to get back together. Eventhough that whole week she was ignoring me and saying how much she hates me. So we're back together now, but in her porfile its all about her ex syaing things like, " I guess we never really moved on" and " Don't you miss the way we were". I'm interested in this girl who is a relatively good friend of about 5 years from back in school. We haven't been meeting up that frequently - maybe only 2-3 times a year - but I've also liked her on and off in between that five years. So far, we are not more than good friends (not best friends either) but I'm liking her a lot more each time I meet her and I'm sensing some chemistry between us. Problem is, I don't really know how I should go about telling her I like her. I don't really want make the friendship more awkward but I would like to move on in the relationship with her...
