Where do I start? My mother in law sent me a refrigerator magnet after sending my husband a $50 gift card and a book about what a great son he is and how much he is loved and then she b i t c h e d that she didn't want to send me anything at all and from now on I will get what I deserve - nothing! So I sent back her fridge magnet in pieces...
My parents complained because my sister and I got together on Christmas Eve and my sister bought me and my kids nice gifts but didn't send them anything and they are her parents. Well my parents love their dog more than us and won't even let us come up for fear of upsetting the damn dog...haven't even met most of my kids ever!
Yesterday after I gave my husband a huge surprise by giving him a PSP and a game to go with it he complained that the PSP didn't come with a memory card and how he couldn't save the game or upload from the computer without it. He complained about not having a memory card MANY times so I felt like he didn't truly appreciate the gesture. The funny part is that he didn't get me anything at all...
To make matters worse I felt completely out of place in my own home on Xmas or Xmess...my kids were all sitting there playing with Nintendo DS systems or the new Wii system and I am so bad at video games I didn't know where to put myself. My hubby was in his element but I felt out of place. I ended up basically cleaning up after everyone and making a big dinner. The two days before I spent wrapping every gift because my husband wouldn't help me wrap anything...
Needless to say I am a bit frustrated by the holiday and grateful that it's over!!!

Mine really sucked. My mom died 3 years ago and my father remarried so me my kids and new granddaughter ( I was an only child) spent Christmas with them and her 4 kids along with the grand kids and were totally ignored for the 2nd year in a row. When they opened packages all of his family were in the kitchen while hers were in the living room with them. Oh well maybe next year!

Mine was very nice thank you. Not just because I got things I wanted and was able to get my daughter things she wanted but because I got to spend quite a lot of quality time with my family and my sisters family and we had really good time and lots of fun

Mine was poo actually. I spent it with my elder daughter who lives with me, unfortunately we live next door to a family from hell who started partying at Noon and were still being noisy at 2.00a.m. I missed my family who are all dead except my two daughters, a brother I don't like and two cousins - one of whom doesn't speak to me because I speak to his brother whom he hates.
I hope everyone else had a better one!

i spent three time more on gifts for others than I got, plus, all my gifts were junk. So basically, I'm going to boycott christmas from now on.

Both my kids had the flu, had one of them in ER for dehydration. Ans one is still really ill

I watched my 2 year old and 1 year old nieces enjoy Christmas (although they didn't understand it) for the first time! so it was great!!!!! thanks for asking.
