my bf has lied before to me in the past. he hasnt done it in a while. is this a sign that i can start trusting him again. or should i wait a while longer. how will i ever know if he wont be like that again. he lied in the past but not now. will he most likely do some more in the future? what do you think?

was in a long distance relationship for 8 years(1998-2006). me and my girlfriend fell in love and had plans to move in together and have kids and get married etc. im a honest, caring, faithful guy who believes in commitment. when we first met, she begged me not to leave her because she thought i would because of the distance. i stayed with her. she cheated on me a few years later, right after she told me that i was the only guy she ever wanted to be with. she begged me to take her back and i did. last summer she told me that she had been seeing other people off and on for years and she was just got our of a relationship with a guy because she got pregnant. all this behind my back. she has totally cut me off of her life. she recently told me that she got back with him. im am really hurt and feel like a total fool and idiot. how can she have a kid with another guy and i am the one that had been through thick and thin with her. through the good and bad times.

i'm a girl myself, but she's always staring at me.... she's not legally crazy or retarded but she's just so..... one day she completely insulted me for no reason so i cussed her out, but at school she won't stop staring at me ever since.... she sits a row across from me in this one class and SHES STARES AT ME! it's freaking me out! Okay so it's a "friend"s birthday tomorrow night. I really don't feel like going but shes the type of girl you can't say no to. my dad bought this game its for gamecube and we had one like that last year and it always would get stuck in my head so finally he got rid of it then a couple days ago he bought a different version my family says im overreacting but now i can't go in the room and my dad says to leave the matter alone but i think he shouldn't have even brought it into the house it isn't a necessity and he knows i don't like it if it's out of the house i'd be fine but don't you think he should have just not even gotten it if he knew how much i hated it my mother even told him not to buy it.

This guy I've been seeing once or twice a week for the past 3 months left town to go visit his family for the holidays. He left last Saturday and won't be back for two weeks. He said he'll email me when he comes back. But I'm concerned for the fact he doesn't even drop me a line while he is gone. Am I supposed to wait for two weeks till I hear from him again? I think if he was into me enough, he would want to contact me. Am I asking too much? Should I just drop him if he does not contact me while he's away?

I'm thinking about losing my virginity to my boyfriend. I am fifteen and he is sixteen. We have been together for a year and three months. I want to know from virgins or non-virgins what your opinions are. Like what should I consider before losing it. He isn't pressuring me and never has. If we do we will be using protection. I just need some opinions and comments from people about how they felt after they lost it. Its not like I come from a broken home and am doing this for attention. I'm a freelance journalist and I write magazine articles for a living. Last year I got a book contract for my first book and I was paid an advance. My boyfriend did a graduate degree in creative writing but he has never managed to get any of his writing published. Recently he became depressed and also refused to read any of my writing work. Finally he admitted it was because my success at writing was making him very angry and jealous. I asked him how he would deal with things when my book came out and if I became successful and made a lot of money. His reply was, "you're unlikely to make real money, like Sidney Sheldon, so thankfully its not going to be something that I'll have to worry about."
I said, "how do you even know what money I might or might not make?"
He said, "I'm sure of it. You're just not going to make that much money at it."

Right now I think he is pathetic. How do I deal with his constant negativity and competitiveness?

i talked to my bf about how he hurts me when we havent had sex for awhile. and he said he never has tried to hurt me but when we didn't do it after a few months he went as fast as he could just starting, and it ripped me and i bleed like i was on my period. It hurt really bad and i told him i don't want to have sex or anything sexual with him. work at a Steakhouse that is attached to an arcade next door. I work with the Hispanic guy that doesn't speak English, but I speak Spanish. We are both 20. He is very sweet and kind and also very touchy feely. He will make remarks about "tu eres bonita y sexy" and stuff like that. He said I was his best friend and on Sunday he got a ring out of the arcade and jokingly slipped it on my finger. He also asks me "Do you have a boyfriend, why not? you are very beautiful." He also has held my hand before while walking and danced with me. Is he interested or just being silly?

Ok, my boyfriend and I have been together a little under a year he is 20 and I am 19, things were really good at first now, he only calls like once every other day and we only see eachother maybe twice a week, he just gave me a really nice ring for Christmas, not an engagement ring or anything but then he didn't call me the day after he gave it to me. He just moved out of his mom's house and since then I feel like I don't even know him, we never talk anymore and he is so defensive about EVERYTHING. What the hell is his problem.
