I'm planning to "chuck it all" and start somewhere else in the US, probably in several different places over the next few years (I'll visit from time to time, though) . I don't plan to take up permanent residence in any of these places or have just one job during this time (I'll take day labor and temp jobs as needed to get by), but I prefer to have a ready-made cover story to tell friends and relatives (who, being stable sorts, tend to pooh-pooh this sort of "throwing caution to the wind" activity). I don't want to tell them anything as trite as "secret agent," though; it has to be something believable that no one has any reason to object to. I don't have a trade per se (like a medical degree), so something like "volunteering at a travelling clinic for the poor" is out, too. It has to be pretty generic. Thanks.

It's like she always finds some reason to yell at me, threaten me, or just plain have something against me...one day it's "she rolled her eyes at me" and the next it's "sure she can come over" but recently she was mad because I turned off my phone at my family's christmas dinner party. I only do that to be nice to my family. She was yelling at my finace while I was on the phone with him telling him that I shouldn't turn off my phone when she needs to get a hold of him. I didn't know she needed to get a hold of him. I think she's nuts or just bipolar, but I don't know how this marriage is going to work if she's always getting mad so quickly about something!

Any ideas? My boyfriend's ex-girlfriend will NOT leave us alone. She knows exactly how he feels about myself. We dated 3 months and then he wanted to go back to her. That only lasted less than 24 hours and she was ready to move back into his house with him when he then called me and told me he had made a terrible mistake. She was there when he called me and told me that. Don't she get a clue??? He has tried being nice to her and telling her there is NOTHING there any longer. He knows this as the night they got back together they slept in the same bed and nothing happened and then the next day the same day he called me she was trying to comfort him when he was crying about myself and he said she touched him and he could tell then things were not what he thought and he had made the terrible mistake breaking up with me. SHe has sent terrible e mails to me in the past and also has put him down in them by disclosing any kind of harmful and embarassing things about him to me.

ok so he is a little different from what i should be liking and he is somewhere between goth and skateboarder but mostly the skateboard type so he is in a different "group" then me but i like what i like and i am just attracted to long shaggy black hair, deep brown or blue eyes, tan skin, and the clothes they wear... my friends bag on me enough about how i dress they keep joking with me and saying im turning into a goth but all i wear are a couple of braclets....so should i give my friends a break since they already dont like the way i have been dressing and stay with my "own kind" or should i annoy the living crap out of them by taking a chance with this totally awesome guy that they hate????

please help me

Thanks A Lot for you help!

This guy and I have been friends for almost seven years, close friends for at least three. But this last year we have hardly talked. He was in a relationship and was pretty much forbidden from talking to me. We saw each other the other night for really only the third time this year and ended up messing around a little bit. We didn't have sex. But we fooled around a little and he stayed with me the whole night. Now its been a few days and i haven't heard anything from him. And i'm starting to panic that our friendship is over. Is this a valid concern?

I have a habit of being cold in the winter. I wear sweats/housepants and a sweatshirt to bed and usually around the house. In the summer I switch to pretty lingerie. Am I odd or is it really that unattractive that you would be done with me? I have a heated mattress pad and that is just a glimmer as to how much I don't like cold.....HELP! I am tired of getting crazy looks from guys when they find out I switch back and forth. Trust me I don't want to were lingerie in the winter if I could keep from it. I am just really thin skinned!

This guy I've been recently seeing--he's broached the gf/bf question and I suggested we give it a couple more weeks--says "I love you" a lot. He first said it when we were just friends. We've moved past that, and he says it on a daily basis now--whenever he says goodbye or else he'll just text me 'I love you' at random points in the middle of the day. I laugh it off because I don't believe he's known me long enough--we just met this year at freshman orientation--to be able to say that. But he's so sweet He used to hang out often with different girls on campus but lately he's just either with his guy friends or with me. When he's at parties or in clubs he's texting me half the night. I think he thinks he really loves me, but we're both barely out of high school. I'm still 17 and he just turned 18. I really like him and he's soooo so sure of us. He says he felt something the first time I looked his way. Is that even possible? (cont.)

If a man goes to a woman to become his sexual partner and have sex with him, she can reject him, and legally he has no recourse. This means that even an ugly woman should get more sex in her life than the average man. However, if he approaches more women, then they won't all reject him, assuming that he's decent-looking and at least mildly confident.

So by increasing the numbers of women that he approaches, he can have more partners than the average women, and only female porn stars and prostitutes will beat him in that regard.

The only thing is, it seems like in going through the necessary rejections to 'win', he still has to do more work than the women. So if he gets 900 rejections but 100 partners in his life, and the average woman has 8 partners in her whole life, does he win or does the average woman win, since she didn't have to do any work to get her 8 partners, and he had to do a whole lot to get his 100?

was told that he had been seeing high school girls and i'm not one to believe everything i hear but this isn't the first time it was brought up again and it came from a reliable source. Now this one girl has been going around telling everyone that she's his girlfriend and when i confronted him about it he never denied knowing her but he denied being with her like he did when i asked him about the other rumors. I care alot about him but at the same time my mother didn't raise any fool. Until this incident my life was drama free but we've been dating off and on for about 8yrs. so what should i do?

Ok, there's this guy at school, and I have to admit, I kinda like him. But I'm wondering if he likes me, or just thinks Im easy (which I'm not) He's always telling me how pretty I am and how smart I am, and how much I make him laugh, and good I make him feel. He's always looking straight into my eyes, which really makes me drool. But he walways has to be touching me somehow, or some way. Either he's stroking my thighs, or get this, trying toslip his hands down my pants. (i know, I know, i alwys push him away. plus, its in the middle of class!) and he tries to kiss me.
But here's the kicker: he has a gilfriend. She told me herself that he never tried to do anything like that with her, I'm the only one. He totally ignores her when I'm around ( i feel bad about that though)
I'm asking. And please be honest.
Does he really genuinlly like me? or does he want a peice of @ss?
Or both?
Please answer me with honesty.
cuz he's kinda sending me mixed signals here..

I have only been on a handful of dates in my lifetime but I was recently introduced to a guy that is ridiculously appealing to me. He's handsome and extremely well manered--just hanging out with him turns me on like crazy. I try too keep my cool but at the end of our first date I kissed his cheek and gave him a hug since I was pretty sure he wouldn't kiss me. On the second I again gave him a hug and kissed his cheek, but I also told him I thought he was really cute, to which he replied that he thought I was too. Still no kiss. I was afraid that during the date I came off as uninterested so I really wanted to let him know how I felt as he is only in town for a few weeks. He said he would call but now I'm left wondering--could I have come on too strong? I don't know much about this whole dating thing but I really wanted to give him the "go ahead" and though he might just be too well-manered to try anything on me. Did I do something wrong? Is this something I should avoid doing?
