does he make you happy???? well then she will just have to get use to it.. just sit down and tell her.. then have her meet him.. regardless how you say it.. if she is going to feel some kind of way.. she is.. unfortunately you can't always change how someone views things.. you can only hope that when she meets him and sees how he treats you ..she will come to like him as a person and forget his skin tone..

okay so definantly dont listen to ms. smarty pants. if you like him enough to see past the color and go out with him then you should definantly stay with him. interracial dating is so awesome you learn alot about not only the person you're dating but about their culture. talk to your mom, my mother is the same way, but remember you are the only one who lives your life so dont make any choices you'll regret. by the way im black and i looooove white guys, and hispanics, and europeans.....and hawaiians and asians (im not a slut, i havent been with all of them i just have no preference and i think its a beautiful thing. it makes the world/ life interesting)

Hmmmmm that's a tough one. Well. Guess you could watch some B.E.T. with your mom and watch one of those urban thug movies. Then just come out with it. Mom, I'm sorta getting a crush for Flava Flav. I'm dating a guy named Tybe'rius-La'mar. But we just call him Crisco.

Seems that you would want your parents approval of who you date.It would make life more easier for you and it would definitely make your parents feel better if you dated your own race.

my parents are the same way. sit down and talk about how bad racism is. then dump it on her. cause if she was saying bad things about racism just before. she'd kinda be talking about herself. no parent wants to feel that bad.

Frankly, it depends on YOUR race. it also depends on how hard your mom is on the topic. if, yeah, she'll get mad, think how mad she's gonna get.
