I'm 14 and i have recently moved into a new house (about 2 months ago). I have ended up with a room which is totally (i wont swear but it's that bad.) It is a half wood panelled room with old lights and furniture and it doesn't even have a door. I am forced to live in this room because no-one else in my family wants it and the only person who does isn't allowed (my dad) to have it because they smoke. I really hate this room and my parents don't allow me to decorate it or even put up posters. I want to decorate it but every time i pop the question i get in trouble for "acting like i own the house."
How can i get my parents to give in and let me decorate my room so i can have my own sanctuary?
P.S. I dont want any insults i keep getting comments i can't make sense, i know i can't but please stop insulting me about it.

I have a HUGE crush on this guy, and the word got out and now he knows. He thinks it's cool, mainly becuase he's in 8th grade and I'm in 9th grade. But I'm the youngest one in my class so our age difference isn't too big. And we go to the same school so it's okay. Before he knew I liked him, we hardly ever spoke a word to eachother but now that he knows he's been paying more attention to me like stopping to say hi and walk with me to class. But he confuses me! He'll flirt with me one day and then the next day I'm invisible to him. But one day on IM my name said "I wish u would notice me" and he asked who I was referring to. I said no one in particular, but then he asked "is it me?" so I said "what if it is?" and he said "Well, if it is then I'd say yes I do notice you." It made me all happy and we had a really good convo afterwards. But the next day when we saw eachother, our eyes met...but we quickly looked away, like always! I know it's because I'm shy but I don't know about him.

How can you love someone with all of your heart and not be afraid to lose them? By lose them, i don't mean because they want to leave...i mean losing them to death....i mean i am terrified of the idea of losing someone i love to death....

I am saying this because i lost someone close to death years ago and till now...i cannot deal with the fact that he is gone....

So, how can you not feel scared of losing the one you love in an instant...without a warning...and without goodbyes?

My wife has told me she doesn't love me anymore. She says she hasn't for years she has just been trying to be a good wife.
We met 12 years ago and married in 99. She had two tiny kids who I have raised as my own. I married her and did not father any children to take care of her and hers. I helped her get through school and get a great career from a poor single mother to a 2600 sqft house.
I had no idea until recently. A year ago she told me I needed to show her I loved her more. Ever since I have done things like love u emails, flowers left in her car, presents at work etc. I have never EVER cheated on her in any way.
She wants me to stay for the now teenage kids and she likes having sex with me. I am her f-buddy and financial partner now. She swears she never cheated and I believe her. She says I did nothing wrong and was a perfect husband.
My heart is in shreds. I can barely go out in public without crying or even vomiting.
Why would she do this to me?
:(

What does it mean if you're on a date and the girl you're on it with tells you that she's not wearing socks under her boots, and thought I should know that? She also says the fur makes her feet comfortable without them....What is she doing here? Is that flirting any? She also kept leaning over and touched her boot alot.

Did I miss out on anything? It was the first date, I asked her out again and she said that she'd love to, so i'll make a move whenever I feel it's right.

After 2 mounths of going back and forth w my ex we keep on talking to each other. I still love her. She says she doent want to think about us like that anymore n doesnt want to try and work things out. Last night i called her. We kept talking till i sliped i was planig on proposing to her in june she was shocked "Wow" and "oh my god" was all she could say. I kept talking n well it lead me to cry and then she started 2 cry. Why would she cry she is the one that dumped me and i am the one pursuing this. All i want from her to think about all of this. The relationship lasted 4 yrs n we both always talked about kids n marrige. The break up came from nowhere only that she felt no romantic connection. I always gave her 100% i gave up parts of my life to be with her. I always told her how i felt and now this. Niether of us can stop calling one another. my only question is why would she cry over this, if this is what she wanted? I sent her a email telling, i will leave her be as best as i can.

People always say 12 year olds shouldn't like the opposite sex. I have a 12 year old son and I know otherwise. Most 12 year olds are far in Pueberty and are already growing hair and that stuff. Thinking about the opposite sex is hard not to do because there Hormones are raging. Why don't people understand that?

My husband and I have had a rough year, there was infidelity, lies, issues with co-workers a whole mess of things that caused us to to seperate and seriously contemplate divorce (even to the point where we told our two children). We've started to try and work things out, not to the point where we are actually saying "for the marriage" but just to see what happens. Starting next year we will go out on dates and just see what happens. During this limbo time we have had sex, but there are weird little issues with others things like casual touching or shows of affection. I thought about all this and decided we should hold off on sex for awhile, just date and explore each other in different ways and see where that goes. Does this sound dumb? Before I get all the infidelity s wrong dump him/her, just know I've heard it all before and thats not what I'm asking for. Thanks to all that give sincere honest answers. Happy Holidays :)

we became so close that we called each other sisters and shared secrets.when she moved to another city, the friendship gradually became nonexistent.i tried to get hold of her when she came and visited her bf,but it looked like she was avoiding me and i tried ti save the friendship, until eventually we grew apart.one of our friends mentioned that she was friends with us because we used to live in the same city, but now that she moved away,it's like 'out of sight, out of mind'.i thought our friendship is there to last, but i guess not.i felt depressed for awhile and mad even.but i learned to let go and move on with my life.my other friends said that dana is like a 'fair weathered friend'.is she really?

I need both male as well as female opinion on this situation... I've known this very attractive and amazingly good shape guy for about a year now. ( no he's not gay, trust me) anyways we sometimes get together for movie nights at his house and have wonderful converations (we only watch movies nothing more.... ) I have always been attracted to him, but decided to keep what I feel to myself. well I have been noticing that he's been giving me these signs... that he may also be attracted to me..but I'm not sure...( I'm an attractive woman and I workout 3 times a week)
The last time I was over at his house and we were watching a movie.. I was really into the movie mind you, when I felt him watching me, when I turn to look his way, he quickly turned away...so I thought nothing of it until I felt him staring again.. so I asked him if there was something wrong and he said no nothing...
after that I have been noticing he's been getting more comfortable with me. touching my arms, hugging me..

If a man wants sex but he normally doesn't make a move coz he's waiting for the girl to make a move first, but then he will be very passionate.

If a man always just lay on the couch and expressing wanting sex but not making any move.

If a man always say he has no energy to have intercourse, but wants the girl to give him ******** instead.

All of these above, can you tell me if this man is lazy or actully most men are like that? And what should the girl do about it?

OK, what exactly is it? Well, I've been complaining and **** about not having a girlfriend...
Well, now I have one, but there's a small problem: SHE'S NOT ALOUD TO DATE. Well, she's told me clearly that she wants to date me, but she can't. She says when she turns 16, she'll drive me up there so's we can have a little "talk" with her parents. But, do you think she's really serious? Because I'm, like, a year younger than her and I don't see how she could be as interested in me as she says. (Her exact words were "I've never had feelings like this before." Of course, it's beautiful, like her. But is she really serious?
