We went to a really cool bar downtown and then took a walk through the city in the middle of the night. It was cold and he gave me his coat, I'll never forget that either.

My husband and I went for a walk in the historical side of our city, out to lunch at this awesome, cheap and authentic Vietnamese Restaurant and then to a movie. Really romantic with lots of time to talk. Really ordinary but it's the first date that popped into my head when I read this question and I married him!

A kayaking date. Rent the kayak and go (unless you live somewhere without water and kayak rentals. Then you need to move)

this guy took me to Paris, France flew me first class and I got to stay at the Ritz in Paris and he took me shopping at Chanel and we ate at the best of the best restaurants
