My friends are all into rock like: Nervena, Matalica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Marilyn Manson. Well I don't like that type of music. They all wear dark colors and that kind of stuff. Well then I come in, Girly girl, pink, yellow clothes, i like Haiku de ta, India Arie, Red jump suit apparatus, Cartell, Panic! at the disco,Hinder, LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC!, that kind of stuff. Well just recently my only girly friend went and turned EMO and now all my stupid friends talk about is "Oh, "Lisa" is next" and "dude you've got to dye your hair dark " (I'm blonde) or "dude you got to wear black and listen to our kind of rock" WELL I DON'T WANT TO! I don't know what to say! It ticks me off and makes me wonder why they don't just like me for me! Sometimes I want to cry! What should I say!?

heres the story i was young and me and my family were at fudruckers my dad was a expert at the claw game and i asked if he could get me something so he went over and got me a stuffed lion and he said that he kinda felt bad because another dad was trying to get the same lion for his daughter and she was crying when my dad got it when her dad try and try as he may couldnt get it so we left about two blocks away i said stop turn around my mom asked why i said just do it so we went back i said i hope shes still here then i saw them i ran and caught them i said to the girl here you can have it and she took it and said thanks it made me feel good but did it make her a better person and do you think she even remembers it?

I'm 13 and my bf's 14. We really like each other. we've been going out for 2 months. I really want to kiss him {possibly french} and so does he. my 2nd cousin just got killed in iraq by an improvised explosive device on dec 16th... i spent lots of time with him as a kid but havent in the last few years, i also havet been in contact with his close family recently... would it be okay for me to show up at his funeral and pay my respects even though i havent been in his life the past 5 or 6 years.... also what be a good way to express my condolances to his close family?

I go to a Christian Church and this guy (who is now the PK) and I grew up together. Him and I used to talk for hours, we were really good friends. About last year he started ignoring me. I mean not just at church but at basketball games (our brothers were on the same team) and at other homeschool events. He even used to come to my soccer games. Now the ony ones he comes to are when we play against his school. I don't know why. And I realy wish I did. All I want is to at least be friends. This all started happening around the time that I wnt to UKRAINE on a Mission Trip and about the time he started going to a christian school. I realy need a guys imput. Thanks

I am turning 18 in 4 months. I have held my job for almost a year and it's enough to support me, even though I'm still in school. There is no "real" reason for me to move out, other than I just want to. But I found a room mate that I can move in with. My daughter is 14 and lives with her Dad in another state. She wanted me to come for Christmas, but I could not get time off from work and did not want to stay with her and her Dad. I would not have been able to stay in a hotel. She is upset with me because I did not visit her for Christmas.

My ex-husband is sending me e-mails that are mean and nasty. The wording states that I am selfish and all about money and don't deserve to have the child live with me. I asked him to send the child to me since he is not able to handle her. He says that I have ruined the child's life when he had sole physical and legal custody because I gave it to him.

I feel bad because everyone is angry with me. I also do feel selfish for worrying about myself and not being the one to keep the family together.

I did leave him because he was emotionally, verbally and physically abusive.

I'm getting married in 9 months. I am in love with my fiancée and am excited about our future together. We are in our early 30's and were together for 2 years before we got engaged. We have a happy and healthy relationship. Prior to being with him, I was in 3 year relationship with someone who i thought was 'the one' but I broke up with him because I was no longer happy and he wasn't good for me. I never would get back with my ex and nor do I even miss his company....BUT, for god's sake, why does he pop into my head about 3 or 4 times per day. Why does he enter my mind at all? We don't talk at all either. I finally am getting married to someone who I am meant for, but why does an ex keep entering my mind ...i just want to forget about him completely. I will feel like hell if I think of him on my wedding day. I feel like i'm psychotic or or I should go to hypnotism or something to get him out of my head. He is a good person but i don't miss him. I'm confused.
