Time to go. If he isn't willing to tell the world that he is with you and is not going to stand up for you then there is the beginning of a problem. Depending on his age and the situation at hand, this decision has to ultimately be up to you. Talk to him and tell him your concerns and ask him for his side of the story before you jump to conclusions but if you don't get an answer from him that is satisfactory to you then move on.

Ok, if he is not standing up to his family for you then why would you want to stay around? It is so hard to be in a relationship if the other persons family does not like you....maybe try staying with him and see how they react that you really do love him......this is one of those things that only time will tell....but then don't spend your whole life hoping that they will change...if they do not come around with in 6 months I would tell hime to make a stand for you or you are leaving.

well it is according how old the guy is... if he is still living at home and he is 16 say he needs to listen to his parents... Now if he is 18 or older then he is an adult and he needs to stand up and be the man...

He is standing up for you whether you believe it or not, if he wasn't he'd stop the relationship with you due to his family. You got a keeper there.

thats harder than it sounds and you left out some key factors like how old is he, how old are you, and are either of you still living with your parents if you still a minor like me than trust me its harder to stand up for your beliefs and your love at that point once he reaches 18 and/or moves out than it will become easier for him because they will either have to accept it or be left behind if he loves you enough if he is already 18 and/ or moved out than why the **** hasnt he stood up for you yet

His family doesn't like you and he likes that they don't. If he won't stick up for you, dump him. Do not hesitate.
