My friends are all into rock like: Nervena, Matalica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Marilyn Manson. Well I don't like that type of music. They all wear dark colors and that kind of stuff. Well then I come in, Girly girl, pink, yellow clothes, i like Haiku de ta, India Arie, Red jump suit apparatus, Cartell, Panic! at the disco,Hinder, LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC!, that kind of stuff. Well just recently my only girly friend went and turned EMO and now all my stupid friends talk about is "Oh, "Lisa" is next" and "dude you've got to dye your hair dark " (I'm blonde) or "dude you got to wear black and listen to our kind of rock" WELL I DON'T WANT TO! I don't know what to say! It ticks me off and makes me wonder why they don't just like me for me! Sometimes I want to cry! What should I say!?

You are who you are! Stay true to yourself and If they want you to do something you're not feeling or into...well you know your limits and If they keep pushing you or you feel like they don't like you confront them about it. Simply just express that it's not for you their great but you just want to be yourself or something like that lol. Hope I helped good luck!

Well, it doesn't really sound like they're really your friends in the first place. If they exclude you from the crowd and make you feel different just because you have different tastes and interests then they must not be very good friends. I say forget about those jerks and try to befriend people more like you, that way you can relate to them and not feel so different. Plus you can get along better because you can do the same things together without getting into arguments. Hope this helps!

Stand up for yourself! You don't like to wear dark colors and you don't like listening to rock music, so what? IT is obvious that they do not accept you for who you are and those are not real friends. FInd friends who will love and accept you for who you are. Hang in there. Everything will be fine. Its completely your choice to do what you want. If you want to listen to country music then listen to country music!!! And geez, if your friend has turned emo, well thats her choice too. If you break it down, everything is made by choices. You should tell them, nicely, that its your choice to be what you want, who you want, what you are, what you listen to, etc. If they don't get the picture, then I think its probably time to find some new friends.

If the really are you're TRUE friends. It won't matter to them what you listen to. or what you wear. or the color of your hair. i love country music too. lol. Hope you get through it with them.

Tell them how you feel about what they did. If they keeping doing it. Kick their *** and walk away from their life. And Just remember no matter what happened you still being who you are and you love to be who you are. Good Luck!
