First off, if he loved you, he would have called you. Most of the time it should only be a day or two without talking but a month??? Are you completely in denial. Let him go and go on with your life. It is too short to wait around on someone like that.

there's stuff missing here. are you in the same town? are you really boyfriend girlfriend or just seeing each other casually? how was the relationship before?
Maybe he views you as a friend and that's it. If you are friend status, don't expect the phone to ring every night or every week. If you have a way to contact him, you may want to contact him and say you miss him, and would like to see him. Some guys are truly not mindreaders.

I would say that definatly you shouldn't be calling him your boyfriend.
If he isn't your boyfriend anymore then he can't be cheating. And as for love...I don't think this was love.
