Ok, I graduated college a year ago and now I work back near my hometown a little over an hour from where I went to school. I'm at the point in my life where I wouldn't mind settling down with a girl but now I have no options in sight.

I work in an office with 10 guys and 1 girl and she is taken. I have been going to the gym regularly for a year. The only one I'm attracted to works there and I'm afraid to ask her out because I don't want it to be awkward every time I go to the gym. I go to church fairly regularly but there is only one girl there around my age and she is getting divorced with two kids. I'm not real outgoing so I don't normally have a lot of luck at bars and clubs. Finally, the girls I still know at school probably don't want to start a long distance relationship where I could only see them on weekends.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I don't think online dating is something I want to try right now. Any other ideas would be great.

I am dating this woman and she is having problems with her daughter so she is not talking to me or when she does it is really rude. I dont know if I should consider my happiness before hers and leave or if I should give in and leave it alone.

I haven't told her that I like her, but i think she could sense it...And she responded positively. I mean, we are together during recess, we talk about ourselves, we joke around, she asks me to accompany her, I offer to carry her things and a lot more. After all my acts, i really thinks she senses that i realy like her...BUT, she dates another guy in front of me (coz i haven't told her that i like her!) she even tells me that he's her previous crush! & she even intoduced me to him! (it hurts pretty bad!)...Do you think she's even aware that i like her? coz she's telling me all those things, & it's killing me! or is she just making me jealous? (well if she does, it really worked! coz i wanna get the **** out of that ******* guy! i wanna kill him everytime i see them together!)..i can't read her!..or is she just treating me as a friend? i could see in her eyes that it's more than that

many months back I used to go to see this guy at his place of employment. He was always really happy when I did this. I really like him, but I have never been sure that he liked me, so I was distant and only went there like once a month. When I left he said "see you next year". I have a friend whose husband had an affair last year. They are a work in process. They always had a great marriage, until he had to go with his job to New Orleans after Katrina. He was gone for 9 months. After he came home, he confessed and has been very remorseful since then. They are actually doing very well. The problem is the other woman. She will not believe that it is over, even though they are 850 miles away. She made it a point to call my friend on her job and tell her in explicit detail about their sex lives, she called their house and cell phones demanding that HE LOVED HER AND MISSED HER, and was only home because he felt sorry for his wife. I have heard him curse her to no return, but she will not give up. They had their numbers changed, and my friend changed jobs. She has now resulted in sending letter after letter, which they refuse&return to sender. Is there anything they can do to stop this? Is there any laws?

can you help me out please, I was having a converation on the phone with my boyfriend on the phone, we've been having a hard time lately, i told him that i wanted probably more than he could give or wanted to give, i.e. i feel there are others and i told him i wanted to be the only one, he said, he said i don't know the answer to what you've just said, then he asked me to marry him, in the excitement i said yes then i got to thinking about what he said when i said i wanted to be the only one. i do love him but it is playing on my mind. what do you suggest i do? Would you say if i love him i should take the risk of him going with others besides me and marry him or tell him his answer has hurt me and throw everything up in the air and ask him what he meant by it? would loving him be to approach him about it and leave if he can't be faithful or hang around and accept he wants to marry me but doesnt want to be faithful to me? Please think seriously and help me find the answer to this

2nd day i met him..he tried to make a move on me..provoking me to hug, kiss, and lay next to him. and asking if i would ever go for a white guy like him. i only gave him a kiss and a hug. he kept on telling me to lay next to him and what not. he also drank a bit but he wasn't drunk at all. so the 3rd day he doens't even call me except to return my dvds. doesn't talk to me for 2-3 days..then after IMs me and tries flirting again? so what does this mean? he was trying to make me go nuts thinking of him i no that. he new he had me because after he returned the dvds i called him and asked where he was goign and what not..ask me for mroe details if u want..but ya........

Could I claim Abandonment as a reason for divorce?
Nearly eight months ago my husband up and left. Luckily we don't have any children. His reasons varied. We've been civil for most of the eight months he's been gone. He says he'd come back home if things change at home, meaning I bend over backwards to please him. I'm not sure if I want him back now, I've been hurt by this. He has been living with one of his friends since this started. If If I can claim abandonment what does that do if anything for me? Are there legal reasons people claim abandonment? I'm not looking for alimony or anything. One asset I'd like to protect is that just prior to him leaving I took out a mortgage. I purchased half of the house we live in. Reason was to try to build equity first then buy the other half within 2 yrs. I'm strapped for $ now, since he pays nothing. Is there anyway to protect that? Any advice helps.
BTW - we live in Pennsylvania

Hi, I want to know the general ground rules for a long distance relationship? I just want to determine if I am being too jealous. I do not want to control my girlfriend. But I would just like to protect our relationship from temptation.

Initially, I did not allow her to go out with a male friend alone together for lunch, dinner or drinking at night. I do not allow her to get too drunk. I also want her to come home early and call me if she will be late. These I do not do. Somehow, the two last rules she were not able to follow. On top of this, I allowed her to go with her female friend to have a vacation in Japan. One day they went to Universal Studios. And there, She told me that she and her friend was approached by her two countrymen (they are koreans) that might be able to guide them around japan (because the korean from japan can speak japanese) at one day. The strange thing was from the pictures they were all together throughout the day. Is this ok with you?
