Married Women Who Flirt

2016-12-31 03:59:59 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

This question is a complicated one. I have studied some psychology reasons on this. It is actually a really interesting topic to do research on, but here is what I have found. Everyone flirts to some extent. It's almost like a way of communication between the human species. Men flirt with women and men whether they ever realize they are doing and vise versus women flirt with women and men. Most of the time it means nothing. Now if a married woman is flirting in a way that is disrespectful then she should definatley stop this because it is being done on a conscious level. But sometimes a simple smile or a touch means nothing, it's just the reacion someone has to that person at the time.

A lot of times after someone gets married, they start to think that since they're not being actively pursued anymore, they're not really attractive or desirable to the opposite sex. This is especially true if the sex is in a rut or if the husband isn't really paying too much attention to the wife. (This can also work vice versa, but you asked specifically about women.) I suppose then, the women feel as though they need to be validated and go flirt with other men to get the reaction they miss from their own husband. It doesn't mean anything when they do this, at least for the most part...it doesn't mean they want to leave their husbands or have random flings with people, (at least not always) but they're just looking for validation that they're still attractive and desirable.

Because most women, whether they can admit it or not, love attention. They also see flirting as harmless, since they usually have no intention of following through on the flirting. They just want to know men - especially men *not* their husband - find them desirable.

However, men don't take women flirting with them as harmless. Just like women think it's harmless to have male friends, which it isn't. Men see flirting as an invitation for sex. That's why it can be so dangerous.

Some women do flirt even if they are married. This is wrong and disrespectful. But most women do it for the attention. They want to feel beautiful and attractive. So if they do not feel this way inside about themselves they try to find this approval from other people. They look for someone Else's opinion of themselves because they are unsure of their own! Others just do it to have fun but it is not fun when you see the hurt in a spouses eyes because of what is called innocent flirting. You get back from others what you put out there. If a girl puts herself out there by flirting she is going to get confronted by a man who wants more of this behavior which can lead to affairs and divorce. A real woman knows herself and carries her self with respect and dignity. Cheap compliments mean nothing but can end up hurting many!

Because flirting is fun. There's nothing wrong with flirting, so long as it's kept to a reasonable level. There's a difference between being a little bit flirty and acting like a sl*t.

Hey, us women like a little walk on the wild side also. I believe many married women flirt because they want to know if they've still "got it" also, it's not so much of a bad thing, they want that feeling that comes along with "hey, I'm sexy but you can't have me because I'm already with a lucky man" I don't see it as a bad thing, I see it as a harmless move where the woman wants to remind their husbands, "hey I'm sexy and men (or women) still pay attention to me, but I chose to marry YOU" It could possibly be seen as a compliment... just as long as flirting is where it stops. If it goes beyond that, I can't back her. lol.

I seen that and it questions me too. I believe when a married woman flirts is because their husbands don't give them enough attention at home. So they need to feel good about themselves so they flirt with other men.

Flirting when I'm married has always embarrassed me and made me feel generally guilty, but my thinking is that married people, male or female, usually flirt because it builds their self-esteem. Their self-esteem can be low if they don't feel very loved and wanted by their spouse, or they can just be a person who likes lots of attention. Good luck!
