I would rather have the truth. I like to have fantasies play out in my sex life but as far as anything else goes, I want to know what's really going on in my life.
I used to like to read Anne Rice novels and they seemed to make you "fantasize" about life but now, with a kid and all the only fantasies I've had lately is wondering what some of these people look like on YA.

Emma Bull for the win! that must be a vote for city fantasy. basically about all my favourite writers are a minimum of relatively city (Emma Bull, Martin Millar, Neil Gaiman, Cassandra Clare, Holly Black, Kelley Armstrong etc, etc...), nonetheless i'm no longer fairly as prepared on the vampire ones, i'm going to nonetheless study them. different favorites are some intense/epic/S&S (especially, Tamora Pierce and Diana Wynne Jones), additionally prepared on Fairytale fantasy, which i think might fall below intense/epic/s&s? BQ: Too many to p.c.. only one! yet i'm fairly prepared on Elena Michaels from the Otherworld sequence via Kelley Armstrong (thought it relatively is partly through fact i'm rereading the sequence on the 2nd). Oh, and since the question asked what do you opt to study or write, i'm going to upload rapidly that I write city, with one or 2 FF thrown in.

it's okay to "fantasize" but always make it a point to zap yourself back to reality coz you can never live in dreams
