I really like this guy and i think he likes me too. He called me the other day for no apparent reason really. I thouhgt this was a good sign so I sent him text mesage..a joke, he liked it and told my friend that he found it funny. She told me he was really excited about me sending him the message. so the day after she told me about his reaction i sent another one..now he seems to be ignoring me...do you think its because he knows that my friend told me about his reaction and he didnt want me to know or is it that i am pushing it?

This guy I was seeing recently broke up with me because he still has feelings for his ex. What I don't understand is that they had a horrible relationship - broke up 3 times in 8 months of dating. She talked bad about him behind his back and constantly nagged him into arguments. Why would he go back to that?

Okay so my fiancee wants to go up to Alaska and go on one of the commercial fishing boats. He wants to leave me for four months and not come back until four months before our wedding. He wants me to plan it all by myself. First off I'm not comfortable with who he's going with, she's kinda a slut when she drinks and she drinks a lot. I trust him but it still makes me slightly nervous. Second its dangerous and I don't want him hurt or killed. Third I don't want him leaving me with so much to do by myself. Fourth he still doesn't know where he's going to stay or anything that he should know. I've told him I dont' want him going and that it will really stress me out but he is really stubborn. Another thing is, he really isn't strong enough to do anything on a boat and he is really lazy and the job he wants requires long hours, etc. When I point these out he's too stubborn and just doesn't understand it. He'll be 20 when he leaves. What do I do?

I've been friends to this quiet [not so quiet around me] just in class and people he doesnt know, kind, sincere, funny guy for some time.

Then one day over the phone he tells me he had a (sexual) fantasy about me
What does that say or mean coming from a guy friend???

Another thing is that he has been acting different like as if he likes me more than a friend lately... just take that into account as well

I'm not talking about those lonely people who have health, sexual or mental problems. The christians believe that God wants us to be happy and fulfilled, therefore he wants us to be married and procreate. On the other hand, he does not play a part in providing a mate for us because of our free will. But they also say you can pray so that God will bring you a husband. That's where I'm confused. Will God give us a life partner if we pray for it earnestly?

Define shallow. To me it's just on the surface... that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things... that it has little meaning. People say that only dating hot people makes you shallow. But there are evolutionary reasons for a woman to want a strong man and for a man to want a feminine woman. But what evolutionary reason is there for wanting a mate with a good sense of humor? Wouldn’t the lack of a meaningful reason make any desire MORE shallow? Is there a truly MEANINGFUL reason behind the desire for humor?

Okay are a couple of the more recent things he's done that lead me to believe he likes me. He saw me walking down a side hallway at our school and he was walking in the main hall and he purposefully started walking VERY slowly so i could catch up with him. He didn't know I noticed that. Then he was giving one of his friends a hug[he's a hugger, that's why I don't have anything about our hugs on here, they could mean everything or nothing] but he never broke eye contact with me. He just stood there, looking at me and smiling. He makes a point of coming over and saying hello to me if we're in a group of people. He also makes sure to come say goodbye to me and give me a hug. Once I went to leave the choir room early and forgot to say goodbye to him, so he called out "goodbye" to me and followed me out to give me a hug. Sometimes he will come over to me specifically and stand with me, even if we are in a group of his good friends. I think he sometimes does things to get my attention. hmm.

A girl I met gave me her number and I gave mine. We talked for 3 hours the next day. She gave me a call the following day but I was not at home so I phone her back the next day. We talked for 1 and half hours over the phone. So I asked if I can call her again sometimes, she said yes and she would call me too. But told me she doesn't want a relationship right now but a friend because she would be going to college. So I phone her again the next day. I got hold of her but she said if she could phone me back because she has a visitor - a good friend - and ask me what time I am still up. Is she avoiding me? I known her for only 4 days. Should I phone her still? Or just let her go and move on? Or should I wait for a few days and wait for her call? What do you think guys?
