(8th grade) I'm pretty sure he likes me.. im kinda shy, but im tired of waiting. i thought that since christmas was coming up it would b really funny. my friends think so too. what do you think? (really want 2 hear from u guys!!)

If someone just ran up and kissed me, even if I liked them, I'd be freaked out. Don't do it.
Besides, you said you were "pretty sure" he liked you. Which means there is a chance that he might not like you. Perhaps you just really want him to like you so you imagine 'signs' that to justify that, even those these 'signs' are ordinary things that he does with everyone.
If this is the case, then you could really humiliate yourself by going up and kissing him.
Even if this isn't the case, there are SO many more things that could go wrong by running up to something to kiss him. Besides the chance of knocking him over (jk), you could in your nervousness miss and hence, making the situation that much more awkward.
Overall my point is, there are other things you could for a laugh and there are definitely other ways you could express your love. (Ask him out?) Don't kiss him out of nowhere.
Just for the record, at grade 8, seriously, focus on school. Boys are nothing but trouble!

Can't recommend it sweetie if you would be hurt if he doesn't respond well. If he is shy, you may embarrass him-not cool. Instead, maybe without witnesses.......approach him with some sass and a smile,"Hey-I think we should go out for a coke together before the the year is all wasted!" If he smiles wide-you win. ( Have it already figured out when and where so he won't have to) If he stammers, still could be ok.if he makes excuses, let him off the hook gracefully and leave him alone!

I am unsure. If i wanted too i would take a while to think about it. If u do it in school u might be in trouble (tiny) and maybe he does not like u back. But i would lean over to the kiss side. Think about it. Remember u have to think .

Honey, boys in 8th grade are scared to death of you girls. But if you just ran up and kissed him, you would know how he feels about you right away.

It's a little immature, try holding a conversation with him, then like lower your voice and talk quieter (he has to lean in to hear you) and then smile, and kiss him. [[im thinking about the same thing, I like an eighth grader, I'm a freshman]]

Even if he likes you it could backfire on you if you do it in front of people and he ends up being embarrassed. Then to save face he will have to say he doesnt like you.
I could be wrong but just think about it first.

It would be fun up to the time that he is embarrassed and rejects you. Trust me it sounds funny and romantic but it really is embarrasing for the guy. Unless you know he really wants that I would settle for just handing him a coke....

Be careful!!! I wouldn't do it in front of his friends. He may like you, but he will have to down play it in front of his friends for embarrassment sakes. Which could really hurt your feelings and embarrass you. Wait til your alone. Remember, girls mature faster than boys! Good luck!!!!
