It's obvious you need to slow down and think through what you're doing.
If you didn't have good judgment when you made the decision to marry, what indications do you have that you're making a good decision now by allowing an affair to break up your marriage??
I think it would be unwise to tell your husband that you don't want him anymore. He is in Iraq. He'll surely feel powerless.
How about making a huge growth step by putting the affair on hold, and seeking counseling? If you are so bonded to the person you're seeing now, surely a little break in the action wouldn't break you up. You can always start seeing him after you talk this situation over with a professional.
I'm guessing you're a young adult. In which case I have to say you are making very immature choices. Why not end one relationship before starting another. And, I think you should start a relationship with yourself before you make any move. It is my experience that as soon as you dump your husband, you'll start cheating on your affair.

don't tell him while he is in iraq, sometimes we think we don't love our husbands anymore, that we truly want to be with this other person, but sometimes we jump the gun, and learn that it was just an affair, but once u break your husbands heart, your marriage will never be the same. wait and see, as u may not really love this man, could be all about sex and lust, which is fleeting. don't tell him while he is in iraq, just a very bad idea and shows how selfish u are, wait till he comes home, think it out carefully before u tell him, make sure it is really what u want to do.

Your man is in IRAQ fighting for our country, and fighting to come home!! You are not worthy of the dirt on the bottom of his boots!! I hate you!
If he loses a limb or something you probably would have left him too!! The man u did it with is even worse because he's a coward laying up in your bed!!
Just go!! get out the house...your man will b little hurt...but just leave..go on git!!!

Let me tell you something, if your husband comes back from Iraq, he can tell, because he can sense the fishy aroma out of you. Be prepared. Why not pack your things and leave instead of waitng for him to throw you out of your house.

well first of all you should have never gotten married if you can not stand by your man while he is fighting for the freedom and protection of Americans everywhere. he is in Iraq fighting for his life everyday and i will guarantee you that you are what he thinks about while he is trying to stay alive. how can any woman do that to her husband

Talk about a cold hearted *****. This guy loved you enough to marry you...gave you his heart. Now this guy's over there risking his life, looking forward to coming home to his new bride, and possibly starting a family together, and all you're doing is spreading your legs for somebody else. Shame on you. I pray that people like you get what's coming to them someday.
