I'm not talking about those lonely people who have health, sexual or mental problems. The christians believe that God wants us to be happy and fulfilled, therefore he wants us to be married and procreate. On the other hand, he does not play a part in providing a mate for us because of our free will. But they also say you can pray so that God will bring you a husband. That's where I'm confused. Will God give us a life partner if we pray for it earnestly?

Just Believe, it will happen when you are ready. Better yet, when God is ready!

Firstly, there is a saying that God only helps those who help themselves, so I don't believe that you can pray to God to "get" things.Secondly I don't believe that there is someone for everyone, that is a myth, and I believe it was coined by Hallmark or some other greeting card company. Finally, you need to be a whole person before you can be with someone else, and I believe that is the most important thing you can do for yourself and those around you, and then everything will fall into place. That still doesn't mean that Mr Right is going to show up on his Shining White Horse and sweep you away. I would suggest you stop praying to God to give you things, and go out and be worthy of those things you want, you will be surprised how much better life gets.

God has a plan for everyone. so if you earnestly pray for a partner and it is a part of his plan he will give you one. and yes, most of the time it would seem like God's plan for us is a plan that we agree with and want to fulfill.
so basically if God wants you to get married you will.

Give it time. The reason why things are like that is because the type of person your looking for is not the one that God wants for you.

Yes definitely, but He won't put one in front of your door, I think that He will put you in a good situation where you'll be able to meet somebody. The Lord has a plan for everybody and I do mean everybody.

THERE ARE AN EQUAL NUMBER OF UNMARRIED GUYS AND GALS, SOMETIMES WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR AWHILE TO FIND OUR MATE. YOU CAN ALWAYS TRY DATES ON LINE AND FROM THE DATING PLACES. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
