I love people; I just choose to have only a couple of special people in my life to be close with. I never had a lot of close friends; but I liked it that way. I guess I'm just very picky with who I get close with and never felt like I needed a big circle of friends. I like being independent like going shopping or to the movies by myself. I like going with friends too; I just dont mind going by myself. Does that make me weird?

For a little while, my husband and I lived seperately, until we managed to sell our old houses and now we moved to a new house together. His kids are coming over to stay with us for the weekend, and this will be the first time they are seeing us sharing a bed. My husband suggested that when the kids are around, we will sleep in seperate beds but I don't like that suggestion. I think they kids will get more confused. What is the right behavior? Should we talk with them ahead of time and explain the situation?

My crush (who likes me back), was very nice to me at first, but after he told someone that he likes me, and they told me, he became cold and distant, denying even liking me. I thought that he was afraid of being rejected by me, but recently, I told him that I like him, and expecting him to change his behavior, but he didn't. Yet, he goes to the spot where I always sit at (we're in PE together), and just looks at me blankly, and when I talk to him, he doesn't say a thing. And today, his friend kept "accidently" stepping on my shoes when we were going into our locker rooms, and he says that it's "purely coincidential," but I looked at my crush's and his friend's feet, and it looked like he was purposely trying to step on my shoes. Yet, he denies even liking me, even after I told him I like him. I'm so confused. Why is he acting like this?

I've been friends with this girl for two years, I developed feelings for her and over the summer we had the startings of what I thought was a relationship. When the summer ended, we got caught up in the college process but I still thought there was something there. We still hung out like really good friends with the potential for something more. Now she admitted the other day that she does have a boyfriend (not me), and yet despite the heartache I feel, she still acts how we used to act. I realize now what I should've long ago, she's never really had any of the reciprocal feelings that I had for her. I have no way now of telling her how I feel because I know she'll reject me and then our friendship will be ruined. So how can I move on? Keep in mind, I live in a small town and it's hard to meet people. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I live with my boyfriend and his two guy friends. Everything is great except he plays videogames pretty all the time. I would like some suggestions on how to get him to cool it with the video games but not seem like a nag or like i am telling him what to do.
