From what I understand, girls like boundaries and like a guy to keep them in line to prevent them from doing stupid and silly things. I think they also like knowing that if they throw a temper tantrum the guy is not going to fall for it and will discipline accordingly. I mean ladies - take away all the rhetoric about feminism and deep down inside don't you want a man to take charge?

I am seeking advice as to how to help a very close friend of mine (I was her bridesmaid). She has recently married and had a baby boy. She loves both her husband and her son dearly.

She is, however, feeling unstimulted and a little upset, and I am unsure as to how to help her. She is studying uni externally, however she has taken a break this semester while she had the bub. She has tried to get a head start on next semester's work, however she is finding it very hard. She tells me that she sits down at her desk to work, but the the baby wakes up or cries and therefore she has to stop her study to attend to his needs. (An occupational hazard of having a 3 month old around, I imagine!)

She and I both understand that some of this frustration is normal after a significant life change, and she is adjusting to having bub around. We live ~1000km apart, so I cannot provide practical help such as looking after bub, cleaning etc.

She has made friend with other mums in the area (cont..)

Which ones apply to you or is similar to your thoughts
1. I think that I am ugly and sometimes handsome. A lot of girls have told me how handsome I am.

2. I feel that people think less of me.

3. I fell that people might think that I am weak

4. I feel like no girl likes me or will.(I am 19 and never had a girlfriend and hardly talk to one)

5. I don't have any close friends whom I call or hang out with

6.I feel like whenever I look at people(this is rare), some of them smile at me for nor reason. I don't know why they smile at me.

7.I feel like I always look like I'm smiling even though I am not.

8.I feel lonely a lot, missing out.

9.I feel anger towards my parents sometimes for not taking the time to teach me values, ask how I feel and so on.(They never did since I was young)

Okay, I'm 20 years old, so as u can figure, I'm just "starting off". Often times people confuse being in love with infatution. I hear when it comes you will know it. However, how can one be sure? Some people have signs or maybe tests to prove their theory. my boyfriend's gotten drunk for a second time, and he knows that i don't approve alcohol, but i don't think he knows how much i disapprove of it. my parents have said, that if he keeps on drinking, that i can't date him. they already know that he got drunk once. he's over 18, and so am i (i'm 19 yrs old)---he was with his brother who's like 25 yrs old, the first time he got drunk, which was like over this past thanksgiving break.i don't know how to tell him, that it's either me or alcohol. i still live at home with my parents (we're both in our senior yr in high school), b/c i got held back a yr. we live 2 hrs apart, and he's been really busy, so i haven't been able to talk to him.i'll be able to see him most likely over x-mas break, but i love so much, and i just don't know how to tell him it's me or alcohol. we've been together now,for almost a yr and a half (it'll be a yr & a half on Dec. 29, 2006). i just don't know how to tell him,b/c i love him,& i know he loves me.ideas please?

I truly do like this bankteller at the bank that I go to, the past few days I have tried to talk to her and the next teller is ear shot away and she could hear or listen to what I would say to the bankteller.
