A woman that raises her kids, cooks, and cleans may be perfectly happy doing those things. But she will always be missing one thing. A man, if that is your sexual preference, provides a woman with a different type of companionship. Man completes woman, and woman completes man. They were meant to co inhabit the earth. And children need both a mans perspective and a womans perspective of the world because whether you like it or not the world is coed.

You don't have a man because you need him, but because you love him and want the companionship that comes along with a relationship, I do everything around the house but my husband works. I love doing what I do, but I don't have to work and if I did, It would probably be the end of my marriage. The household chores for a two income family should be equal, but they never are because usually men are not concerned with things around the home getting done the way women are so they sit back and watch and assume you are having a great time washing his stained underwear and mopping his urine off the bathroom floor. That is just the way they see it I guess.

It's better for the kids to grow up with both a male and female role model in the house. I've heard that boys that grow up without a man in the house and are primarily around women are more likely to become womanizers as adults.
It's also easier to keep track of your kids activities when there are 2 people involved.
I'd guess that most women have some type of sex drive.
Guys are great for lifting heavy stuff..

Companionship ..it gets lonely sometimes. To fix things around the house, or a car, the toilet overflowing, the faucet leaking, or someone strange may be lurking around . Also to whine to ..I miss that ..lol. There are a many reasons why it is nice to have a man around. If a man is good he would help out as well. I really don't think anyone truly wants to be alone. It is really not healthy. It may be ok for a while but sooner or later one may start to wonder what they are missing. Cuddling with your man , a conversation late at nite or first thing in the morning. They can be fun to have around!

Most women have an intrinsic need for a male partner. There is a companionship between male and female that seems to be a basic human need.
If you have a negative feeling about men you might not need one.
Not all men are good. If you havea a good relationship then you will be glad that you have a man in your life.
If you choose not to then that is your choice.

A woman needs a man for many reasons. Security, companion, a father to the kids etc etc... and dont forget a family name.
The society that we live in expects a woman with children to be with a man as the father and the head of the family.
The world outside is very cruel, if a woman is alone, they will take advantage and treats her differently.
Good Luck

I am in a simular situation and i can tell you that i honestly don't need my husband at all. I am what i call a women of the 90's. But i have learned to get over the fact that i don't need him but that i want him. Wanting and needing are two very different things. Look at the qualities that you want from him in a relationship and then that will become the need. Good Luck ~ Katie

For companionship, Having someone there to comfort & support you through anything. Just the general knowledge of someone always on your side & there when you need them. A friend you can't live without. It would be nice if they would start cooking & cleaning!

As a child needs a mother so does she/he needs a father. This is not a question of duties and responsiblities nor does it implies financially capability of a woman. But the fact that the child needed them both, he/ she can't have one without the other. so that the child will grow up to be socially , emotionally, psychologically balanced . Secondly, it is because of physical need specially for younger woman.

Honey, if you can work and pay bills and still come home and take care of your family and house, you don't need a man. Unless you want entertainment and a lot of bullshit. Personally I think women who can do with out a man are better off. Good luck.
