I've gone on a weekend gettaway with my ex before. I think it is OK as long as you know you can't expect anything to change after the weekend gettaway. You guys are still broken up even after the trip. A trip is a trip. If you decide to go, have fun! If you are not comfortable investing your precious weekend on an ex, don't go. Find something more productive to do.

Well, take into consideration who broke up with who and for what reasons. If you broke up with him, stand strong. He has to earn the right to take you out again. If he broke up with you, why did he break up with you. And make sure you aren't just a second choice. Where is he taking you, also? If it's worth your time, then go. If not, then don't.

It sounds like he wants to have sex with you. But if you want to go then make sure other people are going that will keep tabs on you and make sure you don't do anything with your ex that you don't want to do.
