I don't think you're weird. I always admired people who didn't need other people to validate them. Two close friends are plenty, but don't be shy about having just acquaintances.

No you aren't weird. It's not about the quantity of friends, it's the quality. I have always been the same as you- I'd rather have 2 close, true friends than 20 "friends." And as for liking to do things on your own, that doesn't make you weird either. Being independent does not equal freak so don't worry!

Nope.
Having few really good friends is much better than having a ton, but none of them is real friends. At least you know those two will be by your side forever.
As far as going places alone, ain't nothing wrong on that. I go shopping alone all the time--so I can go wherever I want and spend as much time I want. Plus I don't have to wait around in the store I don't even care about.

No it doesn't.
Preferring to be around a few people instead of a crowd does not make you "weird" at all. Instead, it says you are a selective, caring person who chooses to give certain people access to the inner you.
Many people gauge popularity by the NUMBER of people in their social circle; not by the INTENSITY of their involvement. And that is a shame. We should be around those (in any quantity) that makes our life requirements complete and not fall prey to "standards" set by our peers.
I think that anyone you choose to be with on a more-than-passing association is very fortunate to have your attention. Just continue to enjoy, learn and be honest with/around them REGARDLESS of how others may feel.
You are not weird.
You are wonderful.
Enjoy your life my friend, and good luck to to you in your future life adventures.
Thanks for posting.

Your not weird. 2 closes friends are the best! Easy to share your feelings with. But going out alone is ok. Why worry?

It means you are unique, independent, self confident, and loyal. You don't need to be surrounded by lots of people, but you rely on two close friends, true friends. You know you'll be there for them and they'll be there for you. This is called honest to one self.

Not at all. You just have different values. Stay the way you want to be, dont put up a facade for anyone.
