Apparently this was an uninvited thing, and you didnt like it.
Many guys invade your "turf" to test your self identity, to see if you are weak and "ownable" or if you stand up for yourself. Biting is fighting dirty, scraping your high heel down his shin hard, and grinding the heel into his foot isnt a bad response. You can follow it up with "Oh my goodness! Did I do that? You just surprised me. You shouldnt do that to people you dont know, it can scare them."
You could read Ms. Manners. She has great stuff.

Put your hand on his lower leg, close to his knee. It lets him know you like the feeling of being connected, but keeps it clean. You don't want him reading you that way, and if you do then just move your hand up a little. He'll figure it out.

Hmmm . . . if you like it, put your arm around him. If you REALLY like it, you can put your other hand somewhere else. Like on his leg, or his chest, or something like that. Be careful though. You don't want things to get out of hand. Good night!
