OK so what is the underlaying problem here? You have set yourself a low goal... the rejects of two other women. Hmmm. maybe you need to raise your level of worth and your goals a bit.

stay away from the separated one for sure, and get to know the divorced one, his past, his track record, his behavior under stress, does he have children he has abandoned, his past is the best way to predict future, find out about him, and why he is divorced. if more people would do this, they wouldn't get into as many bad relationships. we all think we can change the person, that they will not be mean or betray us, as thye betrayed the last girl, but in reality, we are no different than his last love, and the same thing can happen to us. so get to know him before committing.
