Judge declared me in default when I did not show up for court because I assumed my ex-wife would keep her word and hold to the verbal agreement I made with her before she left. After the judgment came back giving her more than we agreed on, I hired a lawyer to file a Motion to Set Aside Default Judgment. When that lawyer quit his law firm, the lawyer who took over did not make sure the judge ruled on this within 90 days, and after more than a year. with a new lawyer, the judge denied this motion because of the 90 day limit. Can I satisfy this with a promissory note?

We were married for 5 years she had 3 children from previous marriage I loved her children and her more than anything else my life became hers. I never cheated or wanted too I thought we were very happy. Anyway she had an affair for six months then left me on new years day after making love to me all night. Since then (been two years now) I found out alot of stuff about things she did while we were married. My question is this if you had a chance to get some payback, do something for revenge. I have a very explicit home movie of us (sex) would you post it on enternet give it to buddies to watch send it to her cheating *** boyfreind send her a copy and tell her everone is watching it? I still love her very much but I also hate her sometimes. I want her to feel hurt like she has hurt me she destroyed my beleif in true love

I have a 9 yr old daughter, who has a very best friend. Her friend is also 9yrs old, and lives out in the country. It is a long walk from the school. I picked my daughter up, and it was already getting dark, and lashing with rain. Her friend said goodbye, at my car, and i asked if she was being picked up. She said no, her mum told her to walk home, will do her good!! The little girl said she gets terrified on the country lanes, when alone. I obviously gave the poor girl a lift to her door, and her mum was in, car parked outside!!
Is it just me? I think this is awful, she is vulnerable at 9yrs old, too young to walk all alone, in remote places, in the dark.

My situation is that my husbands 15 year old daughter has moved in with us. Probably a temporary basis as she is having some major issues with her mother. I don't necessarily agree with her just moving out, as she needs to work things out with her mom. My husband works out of state and that leaves me to discipline her. It's a tough position for me to be in. She expects to be able to do what my children do but we have to take into consideration the past several weeks of her own actions. She is trying to push my buttons, asking to do things she knows she isn't supposed to do, staying up late, talking on phone non-stop etc.. I don't want to tick her off but I have to discipline to some extent.....very frustrating. She has been with us for a week now, going to see her Mom and Sisters for the first time tonight. Mom has not talked to me at all about the situation which is strange!
Does anyone out there that has been in a similar situation have any advice?

Later this month my gf and I were due to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We have been living together for 3yrs. However last week she confessed to me that she had strong feelings for another guy and that things were not working with us. From what I can gather the main reason she believes we are not working is that we spend little time together due to my lifestyle. I am a shift worker and have one year left of study at uni. She finished uni at the end of last year and is working full time. The guy she has developed feelings for is a co-worker who also has a long-term partner. They have identical working hours. They began to hang out several months ago and I encouraged her to have work friends. The lifestyle that I'm currently leading is not permanent. With any luck by the end of next year I will have commenced my own career with normal hours enabling me to spend more time with her. She has temporarily moved out to assess who she wants to be with. What should/can I do?

The guy I am seeing is in his early 40's and I am a good deal younger than him. The problem is he has a live in girlfriend. I don't think they've been together to long (his wife died in '05) but long enough I feel bad sneeking around (I usually go see him while she's at work 2nd shift) but I do care about him and sometimes I feel like I can't help myself. We met in July and our relationship started in augest. I was supposed to go over there today but it's raining and the dreary mood got me thinking. Technically I'm not cheating anyway, right? So, how bad is it?

What happened was I was assigned as the french fry person. Well half way thru my shift my supervisor tells me to mop the floor. I told him "I've been here for three days now. With my seniority I don't wash floors anymore". He told me to wash the floor or I'm fired. So I put him thru the wall. First, why did I get fired, he started it? Second, is anyone looking for a hard working ex-con?

I've heard that usually good sex is the last thing to go in a marriage. Can someone have a bad marriage and still have good sex in it? Is "sex quality" an indicator of how the marriage is going? If the sex is good, but other parts of the marriage are bad, should one continue with the sex or not? Should one stay in the marriage if the only good thing seems to be the sex?

My boyfriend gives me no reason to be jealous or insecure. He tells me all of the time how happy he is. I am not generally a jealous person, I am just so happy to have finally found someone so special that I am scared to lose him.
How do I get over these feelings?

Why do girls always go for the "bad boy" who will treat them like crap, while the good guys, usually get stuck as the friend who picks up the peices? this bugs me. Ladies the good guys are right in front of you.

I am a father of two boys. I have been unhappy in my relationship for a long time and finally expressed that to my wife last year. We have gone to couples therapy and have really tried to make things work but I am no happier now then I was before. I care about my wife and want her to be happy as well as myself and I feel like I am being selfish in staying and not letting her move on and find someone that feels the same way about her as she does about them. I just cant bear the thought of not being there for my boys on a daily basis.

i just need to know....i consider myself to very kinky and wild in bed but im not a sIut....and girl (or guy) like that does it with any and everyone as often as they can, sometimes without protection....im not that brave.
but i do like to have fun....like if i was at a party and i saw a decent looking guy or girl who didnt mind goth women, and they seemed ok, then i probably would have some "fun" with them. Nothing wrong with that, right? guys do it all the time. I have needs too.
