She WAS in counseling. Now she is not. And whatever is going on with her now, she seems content to let it consume her rather than do anything about it. I have done some reading and research b/c I am really scared for her. Under THESE circumstances, I want to just tell her, "Look, I know you're frightened but I don't know why. But it scares me to, not b/c I'm worried, but b/c I care. I have done some reading on my own, and know you went to counseling before. What would you say if I said I thought I knew why? (And then tell her) I have suspected this for a while and still haven't left you and don't plan to now. I just wanted this out in the open so you know that I know and still love you, don't blame you, and want to be here for you."

As I said before, I am very nearly to the point that I would rather have her hate me and do something to help herself rather than try to figure out what's best for me in the context of her situation. So what would you do? Would you tell her?

Could a successful and meaningful relationship develop if the "couple" slept together the first night of meeting? Or would the relationship always be based on sex?

When my ex and I separated 8 months ago we agreed that neither one of us would pay child support to the other as we were both maintaining a home and we had joint custody. I do make more than him and I was supposed to pay him a small amount each month. Four months ago we changed the custody arrangement in the best interest of our son. Our son now lieves with me full time. With the change my ex is now legally required to pay me child support. However I did not push the issue as he was still living on his own. He has now moved in with the "other woman" and I am thinking of asking him to pay now. Their combined income is higher than mine and I am still paying the mortgage and household expenses on my own. I do not think it is fair. I am sure he will think it is because of the fact that he has moved in with her but I really do not care about that. What type of reaction should I expect?

I'm looking to give my wedding a theme from anywhere between the 1920's and 1940's. For my reception though, I want to have objects everywhere of things from these periods. Like a pair of those old lace up ankle boots (Mary Poppins Style). I'm going to be having a DJ playing old songs but can't think of any good decoration items. Also, for my invitations, I don't want to send out a paper invitation but rather, an object. For example, my sister got married on the beach in Hawaii and for her inviation she sent out bottles filled with sand and shells and scolls with every guest name on it. The actual invitation was laquered to the bottle. Any ideas on something unique I could do for mine?

here's the situation: two guys, decisions decidsions...1) one has been hitting on you from the start, for 5 months, definately showing major intrest and making no bones about it. 2) the other, you meet online, have an agreement to meet after three months of talking online and on the phone.
Problem:Guy 2 makes you feel like he's toying with you and he may not be, and guy 1 is flat out telling you what he wants, straight up. Both have much to offer, in different ways. Which one seems the best of the two?

My wife is getting calls from a woman claiming to be my lover, this person has great details about me and my schedual, I have narrowed it down to a few girls I know, But I have never cheated nor have the intentions of cheating on my wife.
Question is what could someone possibly get out of trying to ruin my marriage when I haven't sent out any signals to anyone that I am looking for something? I haven't even offended anyone that I can think of.

My friend has been separated 4 yrs. and trying to get his spouse to agree to divorce, but when they get close her lawyers brings up something else and it's delayed again. He is covering their 3 children, but just accepted a new job and wants to drop her coverage when he does, but she keeps saying he has to because technically they're still married. She's self-employed and probably doesn't want to pay the high premiums, but he wants to know if he is required to still cover her.

What do you do...do you let him go and if he comes back then talk again or do you just keep trying to talk to him?

I'm disabled myself. No one can really tell unless my hair is short and they ask why I have a long scar on the side of my head, then I tell them the story of how I got shot in the head when I was 11. No one can tell I have a glass eye unless I tell them or show them.
most of the time I start hitting it with a pen.LOL!

I'm dating a guy who keeps saying he wants to get to know me better and that I'm the ideal situation for him but he thinks I'm a little off because I don't like it when he's late or takes 2 hours to pick me up when I know he only lives 30 min. away.

I call him consistently when I'm waiting on him which only makes him take longer and he knows that I have an anxiety disorder. I am now seeking therapy and he said he is willing to go with me, need be. I'm 30yrs. old, no kids, a good job, my own place and I take care of myself. I have a pleasant personality and get along great with other people, I'm also a very giving and understanding person. Am I a little off because I can't tolerate being left waiting and want a serious relationship and take the steps to show that? Am I a little off because of my anxiety? Nobodies perfect, at least I acknowledge my weakness and am trying to work on it.

We had a 10 year relationship and during that time she became very depressed, and eventually dragged me down with her. We lived in how I can only describe it as a perpetual bubble! I made the choice to leave her realising that my life was not going anywhere. I have always loved her but couldn't live with her mental illness. I am getting older and have had several long term girlfriends. I want to have children and feel that my life is passsing me by. She has always kept in touch and I feel that I should help her when she gets depressed, so much so that i am going to go back with her. Am I doing the right thing or not?

Do you know any good conversation topics?

I am really shy around girls and I am really attracted to this one girl. We have never spoken but she is on my mind constantly. The reason I am shy is because I have not yet had a girlfriend. And any advice you give to me would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance Mr. X.

I am new to this site and I would like to say sorry about my user name but I did not want to use my real name and Mr. X was all I could think of.

Also sorry if you get this question a lot but I really need advice and if more people answer hopefully I will have a better understanding of where I am going wrong thanks.
