I'm disabled myself. No one can really tell unless my hair is short and they ask why I have a long scar on the side of my head, then I tell them the story of how I got shot in the head when I was 11. No one can tell I have a glass eye unless I tell them or show them.
most of the time I start hitting it with a pen.LOL!

It's never happened to me, but I think it's really cool that you have a good attitude about yourself! I knew a guy with an artificial leg and he used to stick knives in it when he was in a bar to freak people out! lol! Keep up the good attitude!

Yeah I am always amazed at the people that pull speedily into disabled parking spots and jump out on their cell phone and run into the store..I don't see any disability..so where did they get the placard?
PS..are you for real? Did you really get shot? What's the story?

when I met my husband 38 years ago, he was walking and I was told when we started dating that he would land up in a wheelchair. I married him because I loved him and did not care that he had ms and would be in a wheelchair as he got older. I stayed with him until he died almost three years ago. I miss him very much and I would do it again because I loved him. we have three children together also. two boys and a girl. my youngest is 25 with cp and my daughter is mentally handicapped. I love them also.

I have all of seven and a half fingers, due to a shop class accident in high school, and noone ever notices! Im even a cashier at a hobby lobby!!! People just aren't perceptive, are they?

OMG thats cool,well the glass eye part.That happened to me once,my high school boyfriend had one blue eye and a brown one,it was freaky
