Don't confuse friendship with something more personal. Friendships between opposite sexes are a catch 22. Unless you've been friends a long time, you won't know unless someone makes the first move. Sometimes, you can confront it with basic questioning or possibly revealing that you may be interested in more than friendship. But this could be out of place and change your friendship forever. be careful with this. better to be good friends and loose out on the intimacy than to loose out on the whole friendship.

What is your question - your headline says how do you know when you like someone (duh, that's pretty easy to tell) but the body says how do you know if someone likes you. Sounds like you're pretty young, so do what everyone else does and get your friends to find out for you!
