Ok, this is going to sound a bit conceited...

I'm really confused. I've been dating my bf for 3.5 months. We've hit it off really well. He told me he loves me and that I'm one of two people who's ever been important to him. The other is his ex, who he dated for 3 years. He doesn't have a lot of experience with girls. In college, he was a seminary student, but he dropped out of that because he decided he didn't want to be a priest. Now, he and I are both law students in VA. Recently he told me his ex is seeing someone else and he's jealous. He said he needs to go home over break and see her to see if he still has feelings for her.

I am a law student, 5'4", dark hair and eyes, 115lbs (he tells me I'm the prettiest girl he's dated), I'm motivated, ambitious, and talented (I ride horses, ski, sing, and play the cello).

His ex is an editor in MN, 5'5", 160lbs. He says she's not as smart as him, she's dependent on him, and she uses drugs.

Why would he choose her over me?

He's sweet, cute and seems like everything I want. But like the saying says 'If it sounds too good to be true it is'. When he says he's gonna call me back he never does. But he calls but it seems like he's fallin off. We aren't in a relationship right now because of me. My heart flutters when i am with him it's just I don't feel like he really likes me like he says he does. I feel like he's jus an unreal, unfaithful ni**a like most of them are. Should I give him a chance and trust him?

ok...so...I call back this guy who asked me out. We set up a date for tomorrow night. He called me tonight and told me that he won't be a ble to make it so he wants to re-schedule.
I'm really not that into him. I accepted the invitation because I'm kind of bored.

is it ok if I don't call him back?...he seems really sweet and makes me feel bad to blow him off like this.

But at the same time i was only planning to go out with him this one time.

I have a court order that says the father has the children for half of the school holidays. I have had problems as I think contact should be from either Saturday morning or Monday morning as this is the first day they don't go to school. My X is saying it is it friday after school finishes.

I am 13 my little sister is 9 and is already taller than me. I am 5'3" and she is 5'4". Both of our parents are short (mom is 5'0" and dad is 5'5"). She has recently started growing at a rate of about 1 inch a month. She also has bigger feet than I do. I wear a size 4 in boys and she wears a size 7 1\2 in womens. I can't help but feel that before long I will only be as tall as her belly. She will wear our moms highest heels which have a 4 inch heel around me. Her favorite thing to do is to slouch and walk into a room carrying moms shoes to where I can't see them and say that I have grown and when I look I do look taller but then she turns away and puts on moms high heels and then turns and stretches so that I can watch her appear to grow taller and then she says that I will be her little brother for the rest of our lives. In moms shoes she is about 5'8" and I only come up to her nose.

I recently got engaged a few months ago to my girlfriend of 5 years. I found out that she has been cheating on me and she does not know I know but I do know if that makes sense. I am so angry at her and I just want to dump her but on the other hand I am not ready for that. The sick thing is that are wedding date is in May and she has been cheating on me for a few months now shortly after I propsed to her. I feel that if I let her go, then that is 5 years that I lost with a mate and I have to start all over from scratch and you know that takes time to do. What would you do if you found out your fiance was cheating?

I'm a big girl don't get me wrong, I don't cry or dwell on it, but for the time being it really irks my soul. She never calls unless she needs a favor, such as keeping her kids, doing something on the computer for her or lending her something. We both live in a small town where we have little family, {she does have more in this town than I do though}, so I could see us helping each other with such things, but to never call unless it is that time. Sometimes, I call her to talk, as I need someone to talk to about something or nothing, but she just sits there as if she would rather be digging grub worms. Today, I made it clear in a nice way that I had other things to do tomorrow, but could help her out for about a hour. She made the comment, if you help me this time I'll never ask you to do anything for me again. I said, OK, as I wasn't in to her pissy attitude. I never ask her for anything by the way. Should I tell her tomorrow my issue with her?

Every night a woman posts here about how to get the magic back with her husband, and every night people tell her to try new things; new positions, new adventures, DVD's, be spontaneous, her her her.

Why is it in the beginning of a relationship the men chase us like crazy, then when it dies off WE have to be the ones to come up with new ideas and adventures. Doesn't that make you a little bitter? It does me, because I'm in the same boat. Me and my guy used to make love a trillion times, now its nothing and I'm sick of it. I've tried and tried to no avail. So I should keep trying? Screw that.

Men say women are deceptive, I think MEN use sex to hook women, and once they have us, the love/sex mysteriously disappears. I want to know WHY men do this and why we, the women, have to fix it???????

the right one for me. i prayed to God that I was too weak to end it on my own or to know better if my marriage was a bad idea. i prayed that he would create some circumstance that would end our engagement for us if it wasnt a good thing in his eyes. however, nothing like that happened and we did wind up marrying.

our marriage has been rather difficult and i have found my wife to be a rather difficult person to live with and can honestly sometimes be downright mean. i hate to say it but i dont really enjoy life the way i used to. the only thing i can say is that as a result of it i am closer to God than I have ever been in my life as a result of my prayer and asking him for help to make it through this.

i guess my question for other Christians is, do you believe God could put you in a marriage solely as creating a "cross for you to bear"? in other words, make your life difficult so as to be brought closer to God?

I have known this girl for two years, she’s 34 and I’m 30. She lives about an hour away. We went out a couple of times awhile back. First time she had an old friend get in the way, and they pursued a relationship. The second time she indicated that if I lived closer she would pursue a relationship but didn't want a long distance relationship. I told her I wanted to pursue it but she resisted, citing the distance thing. We kept in touch and emailed almost daily, pretty much excessively as many as 20 times a day (considering we both have office jobs, that wass pushing it I think). About 3 months ago I told her (casually) that I was seeing somebody. She immediately suggested that she was coming to my town and wanted to hang out for awhile. We did. She asked how things were going with the g/f, and I told her they were ok and that we were reaching the make or break point of the relationship. I asked her if she was seeing somebody, and she hesitated (what does the hesitation mean) before saying that she had been seeing somebody for a year. I told her I was happy for her. We had a nice innocent time together. On that following Monday I emailed her and said that I was happy for her that things were going well for her. It’s been a month and she hasn’t really kept in touch AT ALL, not like she used to. Any ideas on what her intentions were and what the heck she is thinking now? Thanks gals, I appreiciate it.

I got completely obliterated one night and my boyfriend trusted my best friend to take me home(he was sober) I apparently slept with him although I have no memory of it what so ever! I dont even remember flirting with him... My friend knows I would never have cheated on my boyfriend if I were sober or even slightly drunk... what do I do? Do I tell my man, even though I know he will stay with me, it will just cause 1000 problems or do I act like it never happend because to me it didnt since I dont remember it.. now that I know my limits and cant trust my closest friend, i know it will never happen again, but do i continue to feel guilty over this? I would tell him if I did it willingly but this was definetely a different circumstance- I am not even attracted to my friend- is this situation still "cheating"?

i really like one of my good friends. i've known him since i was like six.

we've been on-again-off-again "talking" for a while.

well at the end of may this year we were really close to dating. but then we both said some stupid things and it wasn't the right time.

well he was dating this girl at the beginning of the new school year. she broke up with him this week for one of his friends.

i want to tell him how sorry i am for him but i don't want it to seem like i was waiting for it to happen or that i'm glad. i'm not at all. i feel really horrible for him. i just want to be a good friend.

so do i tell him how sorry i am now?

or do i wait a while for things to calm down a little?

so heres the deal, i met this guy about a year ago. when i met him, me & my ex-boyfriend were going through some rough times (meaning he cheated on me NUMEROUS times & like a fool i tried to make it work between us), so the guy that i met, was so sweet. i had started to develop feelings for him but because of the fact me & my ex were trying to "work it out", i never gave him a real chance. eventually we lost touch. THEN there was a girl i met through friends, that i hung out with a few times, talk to every once in awhile just on instant messanger and things like that. being that i live in such a small town, she also met this guy before. she gave him a bigger chance then me, and they have messed around & she hangs out with him from time too time. i ended up seeing him again, and our conversations started up again. he gives me butterflies & i could stay on the phone with him for HOURS..so..would i be wrong for going out on a date with him? since i know about this other girl?
