I have a question, why would any guy be embarrassed to ask this q?
Anyways try any of these:
1)really nice restaurant with romantic music
2)while doing something exciting that she has always wanted to do
3)Sing it to him (even if he is a horrible singer, just make sure not too many people are there, lol)
4)If he got dough, on a lawn write "Would You Marry Me?" let her see it from a helicopter or simply steal a maze that has already been made and he only have to pay for the helicopter, haha
5)With both of their families in a reunion having dinner or a party.
6) he knows her, something that she loves!!!!!!!

How about the two of then share a glass of wine and in his fiance's glass lies the engagement ring. OOORR spell out " will you marry me" with rose petals on the bed and have the ring in the fantasy box open . And let the ring be the dot under the question mark.

well
1.you and your friend go to the mall and go to the stores that you think she would like something from.
2.purchase something from every store that you go to (ex. chocolate, jewelry, Victoria secret)
3.have them wrap it up nice and tell them to keep it behind the desk until your girl comes in (tell them her name)
4.write the names of the stores and a secret location for the end of the hunt and give it to her and tell her there is a surprise @ the end she would go to all the stores and tell them her name and they would give her the present.
5. after a lovely day @ the mall receiving her gifts she would go to the secret location there you will be with a ring and on you knee proposing to her(don't forget the flowers) good luck and congrats to you

well here's what I did I took the engagement ring and placed it just below the surface in her jar of makeup remover and then I went to sleep until that is she got home and began removing her makeup her first dip into the jar brought up a 1/2 carat marquise
cut diamond engagement ring. then everyone in the whole apartment complex was awake. pretty cool.
it dosen't really matter how he does it just as long as he puts a little thought and effort into it tell him I said to go for it and to make the brotherhood proud.

Don't try to do anything outraegeous. She'll probably like it better if you be yourself. You'll know when the time is right. Just carry the ring around just in case.

i think that he should get like a million roses and make a trail of them up to their bedroom so when she gets home from work she follows the path and then he should be waiting up there with the ring dressed in a black tux.. that would be my ideal engagement..
