I live in a nowhere town, thats basically woods. Ive applied and applied and applied. the only places that want to hire me are 45 minutes away, i dont drive and i cant depend on a bus, my parents both work. I dropped out of school as a junior in HS. I want a job but cant find one and continuously tell my parents im trying as hard as i can, I didnt drop out to party, although it is nice sometimes. I dropped out to go for my g.e.d and get my life started quicker. plus with my school doing plenty of illegal things towards me with money, and other stuff like that. what am i supposed to do ? are they going to back off any time soon?

i know that there are a lot of factores involved (like, why did you break-up in the first place) Very sad break-up. We both cried. He NEVER gave me any specific reason why he couldnt be with me anymore. He said he loves me and will love me forever. he also said that no matter what relationship he is in, he will ALWAYS still have sex with me ( i know, i know, please save the "you shouldnt sleep with your ex talk" )...but it is seriously the best sex EVER. He has been with his new girlfriend for a year. We have slept together about 20 times. He obviously wants to stay in his relationship, and he has made it VERY clear that he doesnt want to be with me (at least not right now)..we live 1,000 miles away too. my question is, once your apart from somebody for soo long, do you think it's easier or harder to get back together? do you think your odds are better? Could you fall back in love with somebody after you've moved on and found somebody else that you love?

What does this mean---- what is he talkung about?
I dont really know what he means. I have opinions but im not 100% sure. THsi is what he said "i left you with my verdict if you still want emails from..."
he keeps telling me that if i dont get him a picture of me (we are online friends) that he wont talk to me if i dont give him one blah blah....
he and i were once together not as bf and gf but we were pretty close and alittle bit still are.
we've known each other for ever

My husband of 6 years feels it ok for his sons to sit and eat cereal all day.He feels I don't have a right to say you can't eat cereal? They visit every weekend and it's like they don't eat at home because they eat from the time they get to our home to the time they leave. Sometimes they leave and I have to go back to the store. When I confront him about it I'am just strirring up stuff. It's like he doen't care if the childeren in our home can eat when they leave or not. What should I do???????????

Please read the whole question before posting an answer.

Ok. There's this girl at work (she works at a different section than I do, so the "don't sh1t where you eat" does not apply). She has a boyfriend, which is all I know about that. I was introduced to her through a mutual friend (actually, I introduced myself) who has left our company. However, this girl still talks to me, laughs at my jokes (but my jokes ARE funny, I swear!), and we at the very least say hi when we see each other.

Still, we're not even in the "friends" category, we're just "acquaintances" (and I'd like to keep it at that unless I move up to boyfriend). So I need to buy her Christmas gift carefully. Something that spells "I'm sort of your friend but want more from you, and I don't really care for the fact that you have a boyfriend".

Serious answers only, please >.<

First, a little background information: my boyfriend is 24, and I am 22. We have been friends for over 4 years, and have been dating exclusively for nine months. I know he'd like to be married at some point, I would like to get married (ideally) within the next 2 years or so.

A few nights ago, he said he felt it was very logical of him to love me (haha, I know, he's a bit silly thinking love is logical). Anyway, he reasoned, "...you're pretty, and smart, and you make me laugh and we fun together, and I know you'd be a good mother."

Now, even though he has been skittish to discuss marriage and the like, I have to wonder why on Earth me being "a good mother" would even have crossed his mind if he weren't starting to consider marrying me a serious possibility.

I'm not expecting a proposal within the next week, but what do you think? Does the "good mother" comment indicate that he is considering marriage within the near future?

Thank you to all who answer!!

My ex and I have been divorced for 2 years and my 5-year old daughter lives with me. We have joint custody, but I am the primary caregiver and decision maker. I want to move a few states away to be near my serious boyfriend (he is in the military). The problem is, my ex refuses to let me move with our daughter and will not compromise on visitation arrangements (he currently gets her every other weekend).

Has anyone had a similar situation? If I have to go to court, what are the chances that the judge will allow me to move with my daughter?

I'm 18 and I'm brazilian. This year, I spent 8 months working in Japan. In there I met this gourgeous 18 year old half mexican - half japanese girl, we started dating and fell in love.
We were already boyfriend and girlfriend for 3 months, but I had to move back to Brazil to enter college.

I'm in Brazil for 2 month already, we didn't break up, we talk on the phone and I'm sure we will see each other again, I just don't know when. Can this relationship work? Should I break up with her until the day we can meet again? or do I just leave stuff as it is now?
Should I break up with her?

Me and my boyfriend been with each other for eight months and last night, he was suppose to visit me in the hospital, but never showed up and his attitude and the way he use to call me has changed to. He then started going out more, and I had the feeling he was cheating, but was unable to prove it. Today when speaking to him, he just started crying and told me the truth. That he cheated on me, but it was a "one time" thing with the girl and that he is sorry and wanted to work things out with me and make our relationship stronger. I haven't given him a real answer but a hypothically response, saying if we do then it would be a beginning process, starting as friends and working back into a relationship. Is that a good idea and should I give him a second chance???

okay, so this boy broke up with his girlfriend or his girlfriend broke up with him, the story really never got straight and i didn't want to be constanty asking about it. but anyways, now he is single and me and him have been basically boyfriend and girlfriend just without the title. so we aren't going out but we still call eachother all the time, hang out, cuddle, kiss and make out....i talked to my friend about it and she told me that his friend told her that he liked me a lot but he just wanted to be single for awhile. well why would he want to be single when he likes me and knows i like him back? i mean i understand he needs time but he rushed right into this little thing with me and that was his choice. how can it even be considered single when he is pretty much seeing me all the time and kissing me? i don't know i just feel stupid for liking someone and kissing them when they just "want to stay single for awhile." but honestly, shouldn't i feel stupid?
this guy is also my ex bf

im a med s2dent, and i hve 2 y/o daughter but not married and single... im just 21 y/o, by just merely looking at me, you wont recognize that i gave birth... and i hve a prob... because there is this 1 guy, who flirts and give motive that he really like me... but the prob is that his my prof... and married w/ 1 son... and worst is i like him...for some certain reason, i need to take a leave from the school, maybe God's own way to stay him away from me.. but wen i come back to fix my papers, he's bugging me to give my no... ofcurse i gv it... just to clear sum10 and to really know wats his motive... he already knew that i hve a baby.. worst wen he text me... he admit that he just want my body... and i must admit that, even me,that's also what i want, no commitment and attachment, we even try to set for a date, yet circumstances were not that good... theres always hindering us...... weird, coz i know its wrong,... but i just want some hard truth to slap in my face just to awake me....

A friend of my daughter is being taken advantage of by her boyfriend. Her family does not want her with him not necessarily for this reason because they believe she is not with him.
We are not very close to the family but my daughter is very close to the girl which makes it a bit difficult. I know it because my daughter told me.

Should the parents be told?

I was seeing this guy for around 5 months we were spending about once a week together because his work and he lived in another town...I really liked him but he never told me how he felt about me and would break dates with me (he said it was work related), I tried to break things off with him several times and he kept trying to make it work...finally the last time he broke a date I had enough and broke it off with him...he continued to text me stupid random stuff...and asking how I was doing...we then spoke again...but it just ended up in an argument...this Thanksgiving he text me again!!!...my question is...is he just trying to string me along and play games or does he care about me and trying to find a way back in...he tells me he still wants to be friends but I dont see how this will ever work...being that I dont really trust him...should I tell him again to LOSE my number??? What should I do???

only to get divorced so easily?

This specific category of questions makes me wonder, WHY?

When you get married it is intended that you work through your problems, while not all problems can be worked through easily, most can.

What has happened to compromise?
Furthermore, where is our value of marriage?
