How many close friends do you have that you talk to every day? How do you decide who is a "close" friend?

i only have one close friend that i can talk to everyday. well, you can decide that this person is a TRUE friend if you are just happy being in each others' company, where you can be yourself. you can tell her anything and everything and she will not judge. (i'm using female third person, but of course i mean 'he/she') anyway, going on... you don't feel nervous about making mistakes in front of her. and you can tell that this person has mutual friendship and love for you too.

i am not in school but i have the answer for you ... a person is very very lucky to have that one very best friend in ther world... you will have lots of friends but when that one comes around you will just know it and when they do take hold and cherish it.. i am 38 now i didnt find my very best friend until 1999 and we just hit it off we did everything together we talked every day and we knew every thing about each other good and bad and we still loved each other. we had lunch together at least one time per week usually more and one day we had lunch she left and 2 hrs later she had a heart attack and died at the age of 35 in 2004.. and i still miss her and i still have not found another best friend.... good luck but dont push this because you will just keep getting let down when your true friend shows up you will know....

for me, a close friend is someone i can trust telling anything and everything to without being judged or disliked. a close friend is someone i can put all my trust into. its hard finding a friend like that, but when you do it makes things so much easier.
