I have a guy-friend who I have always been interested in.
He is going through a divorce, and I told him - upfront & honestly - that I liked him and asked him when he was ready if he would try going out on a date with me. He said yes. We started talking and getting really close and wound up having sex.
Sex didn't change our relationship that much; we were still friends - but flirty friends. After a few weeks, we calmed down on the physical stuff for awhile because he wasn't ready to move on from her yet.
As the months went on, he started talking to other girls (I was casually dating someone else as well). Now, he states that sleeping together was a mistake and that we can never be anything more than friends. He has turned down-in-out mean to me now. I haven't changed at all; but I'm not a doormat and I'm not taking his sh*t.
We fight all the time, because I still feel something and he says he never will. Which, hey, sucks for me. He is pushing and pushing - and now, I just give.
I honestly don't think he was just after sex, because we hung out without having sex or even mentioning it. But, my question is - do you think he got scared? Could he have started to feel something? Could I be missing something?
