I got married about a month ago and paid our baker a month and a half ago. I had to get the payment to her the week before the wedding. I sent it off and never heard from her, I spoke with her on the Wednesday before our wedding and she told me she had received payment!!

So now it's been a little over six weeks since I sent the payment in and four and a half weeks since our wedding. Yesterday my check had been returned in the mail, I checked my account and it obviously had never been cashed!! She hasn't called and I really don't know what to do!!

I know this might sound bad, but our cake was only about $250 and I had already paid her 1/3rd of the cost as a deposit! I know that is probably all it cost to make the cake, the rest was probably her profit.

My question is do I resend her payment? or just wait and see if she ever realizes her mistake and calls? I can't help but feel bad if I keep it, but at the same time, it was her mistake for being careless with her buisness.

i have been talking to a guy since june...he seemed really in to me...i serioulsy thought he would ask me to be his girlfriend..well, he hasn't...it's taking to long...i am the one that always calls him...he never calls me..i decided to ignore him for a couple of days and then maybe he would call me...and he hasn't....he wrote me a comment on myspace that said HELLO. but that's it. i feel stupid...should i take that as a hint and move on?

I have 2 kids and pregnant with our third... and my husband and I are best friends... but lately he has been leaving at the drop of a hat anytime anyone calls him to get out with him. He's fortunate enough that he's been able to keep his friendship with most of the people he knew in school but I on the other hand never get to get out with mine- and probably would have no idea how to even get ahold of them if I wanted to. He doesn't understand that I need him as company when I've been at work all day. He's just happy to have friends and to get out of the house... but it's turning into ALL the time. I feel like I have to check with his schedule before I can plan anything with him- and I'm always put behind his friends. He's 23 - is this normal?! I don't want to be the wife that "makes" him stay home but I want my husband back too. I don't want to be lonely. What do I do?

What you think of this situation! A wife and husband want to have a threesome with another chick. The wife has just met a female friend that likes her, and the wife likes her also. The wife claims that she doesn't want to sleep with another man, and the friend claims the same (she's engaged). The friend lives like an hour and a half away from the married couple, and the wife goes to see the friend when her fiancée is at work. Should the husband tell the wife she can't see the chick since this is a diode (one way) type of thing? DON"T NOT post answers like... the married couple shouldn't be doing things like that in the first place (though it will be inevitable that some of you will say something smart like that anyway).

There's so many things that have been going on... I'm sort of stressed out and I had a problem with something... You see, I know I love my boyfriend, I do... I just can't feel much anymore... I have 2 brothers and I'm the only girl in the family. My mom is the only one that gets on my case everytime I want to do things on my own. I am 18 years old and I'm going to a community college and I don't have a job. I feel really hopeless. I told my mom that I'm not going to school next semester and that I'm going to work instead. She got really mad about what I said. And to be honest, I can't always make her happy by doing whatever she wants me to do. My friend is getting married and it will be her second time. (second for the man as well but not to each other) Her first marriage ended after her husband cheated and left her. Some people have criticized her plans. (a fancy dress, lots of guests, photographer, held at a fancy hotel) She feels she was cheated the first time because she was pushed into the marriage and then he left her. (she was expecting a baby and very young the first time) They are very kind and generous people who will host a wonderful reception. Should others complain just because it isn't her first wedding?
