Before we met, my husband was in the Navy. He used ectasy while in the navy and he would tell me stories about it. It did not sound good at all. He said sometimes he would wake up and not know what happened the night before or how he got back to his barracks. I'm all for smoking a little mary jane every once in a while, but taking pills kills your liver and could possibly kill you. Please rethink this decision.

If you do decide to take it, have a "designated driver"-one of your friends that will not do the drugs with you and make sure that you get home alright and not get taken home by some crazy guy that just wants to have a one night stand or worse...

That's quite a question...

First of all, MDMA makes everything (particularly touch) feel really, really good (thus, the name "ecstacy") -- that includes sex. It lowers social inhibitions, reduces pain, and is a little bit of a stimulant. It also causes jaw grinding, which is bad for your teeth/jaw. (Some people chew on pacifiers because of this.)

It works by reversing the serotonin reuptake transporters, bringing about a flood of serotonin. (This effect is blocked by SRI's such a Prozac and Zoloft.) When serotonin is depleted, the effects of taking another pill are minimal. Taken too often, tolerance builds and it's no longer effective. Overdosing on Ecstasy all by itself is not of much concern, but adulterants in pills sold as Ecstasy is a BIG problem, and many of the adulterants are more dangerous.

Neurotoxicity has been observed in animals, and it is likely that the same thing happens to humans. Damage does not start until a few hours after the dose; the serotonin pumps start reuptaking again, but since there is not a lot of serotonin, it grabs dopamine. Dopamine gets quickly broken down in the receptors, yielding free radicals (OH) which are very reactive and eat things up. There has been a study on rats showing that Prozac administered up to 6 hrs after MDMA prevented this, and it's reasonable to believe the same is true of other SRIs. I've seen conjecture that high doses of vitamin C also help, though I haven't looked for research about that.

Human studies cannot involve doses somebody and then cutting up their brain. They are largely based on surveys of ecstacy usage and cognitive tests. What they've found is that recreational ecstacy users, even controlling for polydrug use, do more poorly on specific memory tests than non-users, although still in normal range. The heaviest users do the worst, and lighter users only a little worse than average. Aside from the memory tests, ecstacy users appear to be normal. (Although there's been at least one dentist who's been vocal about the damage heavy ecstacy users are doing to their teeth.)

I think there's a lot of misunderstanding about MDMA, but I hope that clears some things up.

It increases your seratonin level, making you very happy. I've never had sex on it but have heard that it soes make sex better. Unfortunately I've also heard that sex will never be the same without it. Also it decreases your seratonin levels when it wears off, and dercreases more each time you do it. If you do it enough, eventually you'll need to do ectasy just to get your levels back up to where they used to be normally.

they are 3 distinctive drugs. LSD and shrooms impression a similar receptors, nevertheless. Salvia works by way of a distinctive mechanism. From a criminal attitude, they are actually not comparable. A polygraph reaction could remember entirely on how the question grew to become into phrased and what your ideals have been. as an occasion, in the event that they asked you "have you ever used a problematic drug" and you have faith that Salvia is a problematic drug you're able to set off the polygraph in case you mentioned no, yet once you probably did not have faith it you does not set off it.

what they say is that it makes you horny. What they don't tell you is that it's laced with rat poison. This means, if you get a dose that has too much of the rat poison, you will suffer the same effects... possible convulsions, shock, heart atttack, brain damage, etc. You're playing russian roulette with your life. Try foreplay to make you horny... it's cheaper ($), less risky, and the sex will be better.

It makes foreplay better, but the sex part was kind of difficult to concentrate on making happen. Energy, not so much.

Makes you horny and make physical sensation feel really good, but hard to actually do it. Hard to concentrate.

BJ's and carpet munching is great though.

I try everything at least once.
