My girlfriend lives in LA. I live 100 miles away. Today is her birthday. She is going out for a birthday dinner with her friends that live in LA. I want to be with her on her birthday, but she says today is just for her friends and family and that I should not invite myself. One of the friends she is going out with tonight (who has a girlfriend) is male, so it is not just girls going out. She said she would come see me for the weekend and we would celebrate her birthday then. I feel strange that she does not want me around on her birthday today. Also, she never wants me to go out with her in LA. When she wants to see me, she comes to my town. Is it strange that she does not want me to be with her on her birthday, and that she considers it a time for her friends and family only? I have been dating her 3 years.

First off, I just wanna remind you guys to be a little more open-minded. This guy I know is 35 years old and lives with his brother. Four years ago, his brother gave him a truck, which he drove without an insurance. One day he wrecked the truck (also DUI) and got his license taken away. He is required to pay $4500 (for demage) before his license will be returned to him. His brother (who owns a restaurant) then offered him a job at his place, hoping for him to save up and pay $4500 back in order to get his driver license back. It's been four years now. The guy still works in a restaurant, live with his brother, but unable to save any money at all. Now he complains to me that he hates working in the restaurant and that he doesn't have any money. I've tried to motivate him and all, but he always seems depressed and not so motivated. His brother seems struggle to help boosting his ambition also. I believe in a second chance, but anyway, what do you guys think? Is he just a pure loser?

we almost forget a relationship can be fun!

there is a guy at my school that is always hugging me and holding me by my waist.i lke him and i kinda like it when he does that but i didnt know he had a girlfriend and now people call me a whore and a slut.he asked me out before and i said i would think about it.he asked me before he had a gf.now the other girls hate me even more and they want to kick my *** if i dont get away from him.i know that they wont do it and even if they do i can take them.still now i when he puts his arm arouund my waist or my sholder i tell him i need space because people still call me names.i need to know if i should let him hug me or keep telling him to back off. and if you tell me that i should let him what should i tell the girls at school when they tell me what they tell me.

yes so my bf decided tot ake a break from me on tuesday.basically for school i figured otu now. but before he said he doesnt love me anymore. but he says he does. next month would have been our 2 year anniversary with eachother. so anyways! we're "taking a break" and are "just friends" ye he still loves me and we even hugged and kissed alot too.? and said i love you? he said we will prbably get back together but he just wants to get his schooling out of the way. the semester ends next month b4 christmas. i dont understand why we still arent bf and gf? he said he doesnt want to be obligated to see me everyday and i told him he didnt have to and then said theres no point to be "dating" when you only see the person once in a while.

yet we were kissing and hugging and telling eachother we love eachother? i know we're just more than friends and so does he. but says were not bf anf gf so what are we?

and no he's not looking ar with another woman right now.

I personally think that it must be boring to be with a man who's a gynecologist cause he sees loads of women all the time and so when he sees his partner probably he doesn't feel like WOW, because when you're with a man who isn't a gynecologist they are always WOW when they see women naked or when they are with them. That's what I think but what do YOU think???

I have been in a few relationships and the last three have ended on bad notes. I realized that I needed to search myself as to why I kept attracting the assholes. I gave myself a long timeout and did some soul searching. Honestly I hate dating, but I realize that most of the time you won't find Mr. Right the first time. I'm more wiser about it now, yet more apprehensive because I have a two year old child. Note that I don't bring men around my child. I've met a few men, and one in particular that makes me feel that it's right. He makes me feel so feminie, soft, gentle, and encourages me on any venture that I seek. As well as a successful God fearing man and loves children. I have never felt such a conncetion to any man before. I want to open up to him, but because of all the pain, drama, and deceit that I've experienced before I am sacred to let him in. What should I do??

my mother is 57 years old and is an emotionaly abusive relationship with my father and has been for 37 years, I'm scared that she feels that's all life is for her. Alcohol Issues.....?
Hey Im only 14 years old (female) im a freshman.... my friends invited me to this birthday party on December 19th 2006 and its my friends birthday (guy) he said he wants to get
'wasted' (drink for the first time) and i have only drank alcohol once which was last year at my cousins house!

I have been talking to my love for 16 months and we do love eachother. However lately i feel like things are not the same. we have never meet(we talk on the computer) yet but we plan on meeting each other. My problem lately is I feel he is not listening to me. I will talk to him about certain issues and he will do the same thing over and over again . for example i will call him and he wont answer the phone all day , then the next day he will say im sorry ive been tired .. He will also act like hes tired and ready to go to sleep but when i log on the computer he will be on playing games on pogo. IM confussed and i dont know whats up.
