Well the best thing to do is start looking up the name and last place you knew where they lived and see if there are any hits or look them up in the phone book if they still have the same last name

You can....
Google them
look in a phonebook
call their old phone number
ask someone who knew/knows them
or do a people search, even though you usually have to pay for those

You check the telephone book (on the Internet of course). Look for the person in all of the cities that you believe them to have been in. That's what I did.
