This boy in my class asked me to be his girlfriend but i don't like him. I don't want to be mean because he is really sweet. I am afraid he's going to get depressed because last year a girl said no to him and for the rest of the year he was so depressed. So what do I say no or should i even say no? Please help me!!!! I need help!!!!!!! FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what if you meet someone on line and you think you know everything about them, like they're age and what they look like and where they live, but in the end none of that stuff is true? how do you know if you're talking to someone you can trust and who will tell you the truth about themself? i always wonder if i'm sitting here chatting with some 40 year-old truck driver with an unhealthy obsession of hitting on teenage girls, instead of the nice and cute teenage guy he told me he is?! how am i supposed to know???? is it better to just not risk getting yourself tangled up in something you don't for real know anything about? or is it really worth it? someone please help me!! i dunno what i'm doing over here!!

Please please only serious responses. I'm 18 and just really having a tough time at home. I've never been depressed before, but I can assume this has to be as close to depression as someone can be. I have no relationship with my Dad, but I never have due to his alcoholism and it doesn't bother me. I've always been close to my mom up until the past 6 months or so. Everything is so hard between us. Everything turns into an argument and she believes I never feel bad about anything that happens when truthfully I end up crying myself to sleep more often than not. I really have heavily considered suicide. Last night in the midst of a 4 hour argument I told my mother this. Her only response was a sarcastic remark along the lines of being mentally ill and needing to be in a psych ward. She doesn't really doesn't understand. I need someone to talk to. I have no one except her. I apologize for all the rambling.

My dad is turning 52 in 28 days. I have no idea what to get him! I was thinking of an ipod nano with the arm band for when he's gardening or something, but I don't think he would use it that much.

Also, what should I do on his birthday? I'm thinking of hiring a private room in a restaurant for close family and friends for a nice lunch...

Okay, I've always had issues with my self-esteem, mostly due to my apperance. When I wake up, I get ready, put make-up on, and do my hair. I feel like I look good. I feel good. I'm happy when I first look in the mirror in the morning. My friends tell me I have a great personality. When I get to school, stupid 8th grade boys, don't notice anything. I talk to them, but the most I've got out of them is my friend saying "I like your hair color, it's like an aubrun."

recently i joined the MSN messenger, n it auto notify all my contact list. The problem is- i did not delete my ex's n he was also invited... Well, he replied n said he would not be joininig-(honestly, i dont bloody care coz he hurt me badly) n i just ignored the e-mail. Now this is what is happening, he e-mails me everyday!!!!!! The man I am with has captivated me, mind body and soul. The time we have spent together is amazing, and I treasure every second I get to spend with him, even if it is just sitting around talking or watching a movie, or anything. As long as I am with him, I am in complete bliss.
I haven't been in love with anyone else before him, and I think it's so hard. Not loving him, but the fact that I can't bare to apart from him, it's like he has the other half of my heart when he's not around me. The touch of his hand gives me a sense of calmness and serenity, and hearing his voice soothes all of my fears.
I'm afraid to tell him I love him. It's on the tip of my tounge everytime I hear his voice or see him. What is something I can do, an action, that would show him - I love him - and him alone??
I know actions speak louder than words.

try not to be selfish or anyhting but if she needed me i was there, wen her dad died i was there, wen he boyfriend dumped i was there, wen she started self harming i was there, she told me i saved her life and al that..but recently ive been suicidal..i took an OD im depressed..TMI! i asked her to stay with me as i cried down the phone tht i needed her..she said ill be there at 8.30 baby..she didnt turn up she switched her phone of wen i tried to ring..her excuse was she was too tired..she was with her boyfriend all day.. she the went onto say im a liar i didnt take an OD at all..but its true and im hurting and i love her shes my best friend or rather was, i dont know what to do, should i jus ditch her..or should i forgive and forget.. -cries-

Been dating this guy since May, things are great, been taking it kind of slow, seeing each other once or twice a week, and talking daily.
