try not to be selfish or anyhting but if she needed me i was there, wen her dad died i was there, wen he boyfriend dumped i was there, wen she started self harming i was there, she told me i saved her life and al that..but recently ive been suicidal..i took an OD im depressed..TMI! i asked her to stay with me as i cried down the phone tht i needed her..she said ill be there at 8.30 baby..she didnt turn up she switched her phone of wen i tried to ring..her excuse was she was too tired..she was with her boyfriend all day.. she the went onto say im a liar i didnt take an OD at all..but its true and im hurting and i love her shes my best friend or rather was, i dont know what to do, should i jus ditch her..or should i forgive and forget.. -cries-

First of all....if she really was your best friend she would have been there for you. One question though.....is this the first time she has done this to you? Secondly, if you are suicidal you should get a hold of a professional... like a suicide hotline. Also, what has caused you to become depressed? Remember there is someone that would be upset if you died, you are worth it, and you are a valuable person.

You are a wonderful friend, but she is a taker. She wanted attention and you gave her plenty of it. By the same token, she is not and will not be there for you. There is nothing that you can do about that. She is who she is and her needs are her priority.
If you need support, you will have to look to someone else.

I would leave. I have friends or used to have friends that treated me like that. Then the first time they hurt me it became a hobby, I hate them now. Listen to your conschence or go to a trusted adult.
