My husband is studying for a test. Really he is NOT studying--he's procrastinating but every time he comes near me he wants me to ask him quiz him on information he doesn't even understand. So I sit there for about ten minutes asking questions then get frustrated. Is it wrong of me to not want to help him study? We have two boys (one of which is in school with FAS) and I feel like I'm constantly quizzing someone, making a PB&J, cleaning a diaper, or giving baths. It's not that I don't want to help him but I want him to help himself before he needs me. I don't know how to get the point across that it's not that I don't want to help him but that I have better things that need to get done. Does this make any sense? If you were in the situation what would you do?

A friend alerted me that he had found MY photo being used in one of the Yahoo Personal Ads. He answered the ad trying to find out who the person is, but hasn't received an answer. While I should be a bit flattered, I suppose, that she/he picked my face to steal, what can be done about it without causing too much of a fuss? I don't want to get that person in trouble, but - I really would like to have sole use of my own face, don'cha know....

I have to make a confession to my dad. I have to tell him he needs to send me 15K more for my college tuition because the 15K he sent me before...I gambled away in 2 months(cries)...I know it will hurt him and I waited to see if I could win it back but that has not been possible and I cannot wait a day more (cant gamble anymore) or I will fail in my classes...I wish I was so rich that 15k was not a big deal but it is. My 56yr old dad has to now send my stupid *** more money its so sick...I did this mistake before also and spent 10K and promised I wont do it again so I have let him down.

Please tell me how can I make this confession - Please I am distraught...I know once I graduate and get a good job...this money wont mean much but I want my father to love me and trust me...I dont wanna make any mistakes in this important conversation....yet I am confused as to how to go about it...what is your advice and suggestions!

I'm turning 19 next month. I have a 3.8 GPA in college working on two degrees. I work full-time (about 60 hours a week). The apartment we're living in is under my name and I pay half, or more than half, of the utilities. The thing is, my mother is extremely controlling. She doesn't want friends calling my cell, or my even hanging out with them. Those are friends that she doesn't even know personally. Sometimes she makes suggestions and expects me to accept them or she'll get super pissed and then start yelling and/or never ends the lecture.

The other day, we were discussing careers and she said if I didn't take this and that career, she'd be super disappointed in me.

I have a boyfriend now, and if she finds out she'd start another 3-day argument until I leave him. She hasn't met him yet because she never gave him the chance to stop by our place. How can I tell her I have a BF without having her freak out?

I know parents want the best for their kids, but this is too far.

I am in a relationship with my best friend, things worked at first pretty well, but now I feel that she is somewhat distant and selfish and I feel like I am pulling all the weight of the relationship which annoys me to no end. Normally when I am in a relationship and something annoys me I simply say next, however I knew what I was getting into when we started, she used to be like that when we were just friends. She started to change and become a caring person as we got closer to a more caring person. But now that we have about two months together she started acting like that again.
I would appreciate any suggestions of how to deal with this.

I am a single mom due to my husband leaving me after 22 years with 3 children and one in college to be with a 22 year old.I know this is going to be a stupid sounding question but does anyone know where I could get help to get out of a financial hole not a big hole just a small one but seems like a large crater to me.When he left three months ago I didnt know we were 2 months behind on everything and I work full time and one of my children is disabled and I can stay within my budget monthly but i cant now because he left me so far behind.I have filed for a divorce and am waiting for the authorites to find him to help by paying child support.Please dont be mean with the answers I need your prayers and good advise Thanks in advance~

For all the singles out there, when do you actually feel that you needed someone? was it after a couple of wines, or was it at the middle of the night? i got the feeling that i needed nobody, love was so away from me. i get used to be alone, with my friends and when i'm out mostly i got the attention i wanted and i am satisfied. ok so me and this guy have been inviting each other to do differnt things, like he invited me to his party and i invited him to the movies and he invited me to rock climbing and i invited him to theses haunted houses, anyways neither of us can make it when one of us invites the other to go somwhere.

I don't like girls my age, they are usually lifeless and bitter with large amounts of baggage. I like to do all the things a 20 something girl likes to do and have no trouble keeping up with the ones i have dated. I work with this amazing woman. It sounds corny, but she literally could be the woman of my dreams. The catch? She's married! Under normal circumstances, I'd run away fast, but we share so many common things, so many common ideals, that it's extremely difficult not thinking about her.
