I am in a relationship with my best friend, things worked at first pretty well, but now I feel that she is somewhat distant and selfish and I feel like I am pulling all the weight of the relationship which annoys me to no end. Normally when I am in a relationship and something annoys me I simply say next, however I knew what I was getting into when we started, she used to be like that when we were just friends. She started to change and become a caring person as we got closer to a more caring person. But now that we have about two months together she started acting like that again.
I would appreciate any suggestions of how to deal with this.

I think I can do one of 4 choices

1- Simply dump her and go on. I think this is too reckless in this case and I feel like I really love her and dumping her just like that would ruin the friendship we had.
2- Talk to her about it. This is kind of hard for me because when I have a problem I tend to keep it to myself and solve it myself, so telling someone about it always gives me a hard time.
3- Try something out to get her back to the way she was. The problem with this is that I am feeling so disappointed with her that I don’t want to do anything special for her... any ideas on this would be helpful
4- Put up with it and change myself to accept a relationship like that.

My vote is # 2. People are usually on their best behaviour in the first 3 months of a new relationship. This is known as the honeymoon phase. We are on our best behaviour and try to do and say all the right things. Now that she is getting comfortable with you, she is reverting back to how she was when you were friends. Leopards don't change their spots. Please be careful and talk to her, but I have serious doubts from years of experience.

Is only 2 months, i think you should talk to her about it. Things might change for the better. if you dont even give her a chance to explain or change, dont you find it too cruel to end it off this way? give both of you some time and a second chance. good luck.

those kind of relations don't last. just go alone and eventually, you guys would start to talk less. or, if something happens, you guys ,might be best friends again. but it wont last long.
