I don't like girls my age, they are usually lifeless and bitter with large amounts of baggage. I like to do all the things a 20 something girl likes to do and have no trouble keeping up with the ones i have dated. Problem is i want an honist relationship and they turn out to be tramps and cheaters. Is that the only kind of girl who wants an older man who treats them good and wants to make them the center of his life? I've been told that only rich guys get the young girls, is that true?

I think that you will find the right one. Not all girls in their 20's are the same. There is nothing wrong with dating younger women.

Come on, Jim...you MUST be smarter than this! Girls in their 20's are just that...GIRLS IN THEIR 20's! To call them "tramps and cheaters" at that age is just wrong...and it's a little scary. Did YOU want or need to be tied down to one girl when you were in your 20's?? A girl doesn't even start to become a woman until she hits 30 and then something really amazing happens to us...we get in touch with ourselves somehow. I'm in my late 30's and have never felt better, been more responsible or partied as much as I do now with total confidence and ability. I have an incredible job, make enough money to live how I want to live and I stay out until 4:00am when I'm with someone who can keep up with ME. I also love to do cultural things like going to museums and shows, and then I flip over to a Pink Floyd concert. You REALLY just haven't met the right WOMAN who's a bit more your speed...and a bit more your age! Good luck!

I think it's possible. Difficult to find, but possible. Society has such a huge hang-up about it, so there's that working against you (us).
You may be right about the money thing. I'm with you though. I'm a male in my early 50s and have the same preferences and similar experiences about women my own age or "age-appropriate".
I'm beginning to think I'll just end up alone later on in life. Oh well. At least I won't have some harpy b**ch nagging me 'til the day I die!

I think that at 20, a girl just wants to have fun. You have been through that stage in your life already and you want to settle down.(again?) I cant see what you would have in common w/ a 20 yr. old, besides maybe sex. Some young girls may also just be looking for a sugar daddy. And when the money runs out, her time w/ you does also. So, yes, I believe the stereotype that only rich guys get the young girls. It sucks, but true! Keep your head up tho, I'm sure there is a youngin' out there who is willing to settle down and be faithful. you cant look for it though, or you will never find it. You just have to let it happen.

No it's not possible, but I sure won't date a man that is 30+ years older than me. It's just not right in my opinion. I've always had much older men hitting on me and I don't like it, to this day I still don't like it. It's just plan wrong.

To start out... you are not a man in his 50's, A man in his 50's does not call women his age "girls" Also an man in his 50's can spell "honest" and if he cannot, he will use spell check....
Now if your dad whats to date a girl in her 20's then he looking to control someone, B/c a women his age will not put up with his crap.

If it is, it isn't love they have found now is it? You can date those twenty somethings all you want, when it comes to falling in love and settling down, they are not going to go the distance. They are not going to be there to take care of you when you get older and need them most. On the other hand, what woman wants to marry a man she can count on to die and leave her alone. I think any woman in her twenties that dates men in their fifty's is either very insecure and misses her daddy or is in it for the money. There's plenty of us older chicks out there that have tossed our sealed baggage to the wind, you just have to search a little harder.
If you're in your fifties and dating 20 year olds, I am sure you have heard, "just a little harder" before!

Yeah. If she wants to, but why would you want the hassle of an immature 20 something?
Why assume that a 20 something is a tramp and a cheater unless that is the type you've been drawn to?
Why do you find bitter and lifeless women to be with? You are looking in all the wrong places.

Honestly, it's not you being 50 and her being 20, that creates the problem. But in 20 years, you'll be 70, and she will be 40 and in her sexual prime! What will you be able to do for her then?

Older woman... you say they are lifeless and bitter and has large amounts of baggage... well look at you... 50yo and can't keep a 20yo happy... to you they are cheaters and tramps... make up your mind... maybe you might need to switch teams... ya know...
You have just insulted all women... young and old... you are mistaken... there are alot of older women out there that have rewarding lives, happy and loving... and for the young women there out there learning life and you call them tramps... because you can't keep one happy...
