Mom died almost 10 yrs ago. Have not celebrated a holiday or birthday since then. How do I get my joy back? I know she wouldn't want me to live like this.

I have an uncle who was very dear to me, who passed away about three years ago...I know it sounds weird, "just" being an uncle and all, but our family is close-knit...and he died young--he was only 49 (he had a fatal heart attack)...and I have a picture of our whole family from Thanksgiving several years back, and he's front and center, kneeling...I just miss him alot sometimes and wish he could have been around to meet my baby girl...he helped raise me when I was little...just wondered if this happens to you guys too--thinking of a loved one, out of the blue...and being really sad?! Maybe I'm oversensitive. Who knows?

Sam and Bessie are senior citizens, and Sam has always wanted an expensive pair of alligator cowboy boots. Seeing them on sale one day, he buys a pair and wears them home, asking Bessie, "So, do you notice anything different about me?"

"What's different? It's the same shirt you wore yesterday and the same pants."

"What's different?" Frustrated, Sam goes into the bathroom, undresses and comes out completely naked, wearing only his new boots. Again he says, "Bessie, do you notice anything different?"

"What's different, Sam? It's hanging down today; it was hanging down yesterday and will be hanging down again tomorrow."

Angrily, Sam yells, "Do you know why it's hanging down? 'Cause it's looking at my new boots!!"

Bessie replies, "You shoulda bought a hat!"

If I was to go to a department store and try on alot of skirts dresses and high heels and tell the store clecks that I lost a bet and I'm trying to find my halloween costume. Do you think that they would believe me. I would have a pair of pantyhose on under my jeans the hole time at the store.

my boyfriend teeth are yellow and in bad condition, I asked him to go to dentist he got mad. was I wrong to ask him that.
Really bad teeth turn me off, and I told him I might leave him if he insist not to look after them and himself.

he promised me to go to densit but he never went..

he promised me to learn and go to college or university but he never went, he is just working full time and he keeps saying he will study in the future after he gets married. cause he is not that happy right now.

do i belive him or just leave him.

and he has just come out of a relationship and says although he really likes me he doesn't want to rush straight into another one which i totally understand but he txts me all the time and we've been out twice. how do i keep him interested without seeming too keen and scare him off!! i would appreciate mens and womens views on this.

I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years. We've been through the ups, downs and and all arounds together and we've survived it all. The only problem that has always been there and not sure will ever go away is the issue of appearence. My parents, my sister and my best friend think he is ugly and not good enough for me. I'll admit he doesn't look like the model boyfriend my sister has, but I love him. His teeth are crooked and noticeable when he smiles, he is prone to gaining weight, his skin is not too smooth and he can never find a haircut that suits him. sometimes I am ashamed to let everyone know he is mine. I try to get him on a diet, get braces ect. but it makes his confiednce low. when he gaines weight I find myself unattracted to him and weeks can go by without having sex. Aside from that he is an amazing person, and I don't think I could find anyone else like him. I know i'm going to marry him one day, but I am afarid the relationship will be weak. I'm so confused......

My friend had met an old flame in Feb & had felt all the old feelings for him flooding back. She asked me to cover up for her, but I was very reluctant to do so, but gave into her, as i thought she deserved a little happines as her husband had been violnt to her in the past and if their marraige was over it was over. to cut a long story short the guy agreeded he still had feelings for her and wouldnt mind seeing her from time to time but didnt want anything serious as he had a partner and a young child and would never give them up. We were leaving the pub one night wen her husband turned up and saw her hand in hand with this guy they had a huge row and she left her husband for two weeks and stayed with another friend of ours. she and I went to the pub the week after the row I told her it wasnt a good idea. The guy told her after what had happend with her hubby he wanted no more to do with her. She is now back with her husband and has told him and everyone else that it was me.

My fiance has been Desperately trying to find his daughter. Years ago when he was a teenager he got together with a girl that he worked with. She became pregnant, and had a little girl. He never got to see the baby except for once from a distance. The mother of the child ran away with the baby and it just about broke his heart. Mind you this was years ago. The baby is about 17-18yrs old now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can find either the mother of his daughter? We have just recently engaged and he is determined to find his daughter BEFORE we get married. While I want to get married within the year, I want more for him to find his long lost daughter. I was teased eva since the 3rd grade & my mom abused me. I have this issue where I can't trust people cuz 1 of my closest friends was using me 4 my money & cuz I bought her stuff.

So now 1 of my friends that is like my sister hangs out with me all the time & I didn't start buying her stuff until a month ago. I've known her 4 half a year & I'm starting 2 wonder if sometimes when she doesn't talk 2 me if it's cuz she knows I'll still talk 2 her & still buy her stuff. Help!!

We have no hugh obligations as far as credit cards,furniture or vehicles with payments. We are amicable about everything even the two boys. However, I am a college student in the state of Florida and am not working.We have been married for 17 years. He wants to move out and find his own place. My bills for the household expenses are around $2000 a month. What do yall think? He says he only wants to give me 250 a week. Remember he makes around 70K a year.
