If I was to go to a department store and try on alot of skirts dresses and high heels and tell the store clecks that I lost a bet and I'm trying to find my halloween costume. Do you think that they would believe me. I would have a pair of pantyhose on under my jeans the hole time at the store.

I really don't think you need an excuse to try on skirts and high heels. If she seems curious, just say you're going drag for Halloween. She may even think it's cute and funny. Don't turn it into a big deal. It's when you act insecure with yourself is when they think you're weird and freaky because you're making them nervous. Be sure about yourself and they usually act normal.
