I have an uncle who was very dear to me, who passed away about three years ago...I know it sounds weird, "just" being an uncle and all, but our family is close-knit...and he died young--he was only 49 (he had a fatal heart attack)...and I have a picture of our whole family from Thanksgiving several years back, and he's front and center, kneeling...I just miss him alot sometimes and wish he could have been around to meet my baby girl...he helped raise me when I was little...just wondered if this happens to you guys too--thinking of a loved one, out of the blue...and being really sad?! Maybe I'm oversensitive. Who knows?

Yes I know the feeling, my Mother passed away just 6 months ago, and I miss her daily. I can just be sitting doing nothing and I'll think of something that she said or done, and bam I start crying. The sadness will go away a little at a time, but hopefully not completely. Memories are all we have now of them.

Yes it happens to me.
My Dad passed away when I was just 2 years old. About 2 weeks before my 3d birthday. And sometimes yes I just starting thinking of him out of the blue and am very sad and even start to cry sometimes. It's just what our emotions do to us I guess.

ive read that when uhave a baby it is really common to think of lost family members that you wish would have been around to see the baby, also to dream about them. I lost my dad to cancer earlier this year, he was 50 and I was 10 weeks pregnant with my first. I am now 35 weeks and I dream about him and think of him all of the time and just hope that he will know my baby.

yes l do think of someone that way, so this is for you......

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

`It's normal to feel the loss of a loved one even after many years. Just remember the good times.

He has already seen your baby daughter and loves her very much.....even though people die they are still around us and see different things we are doing and know what is going on in our lives. It is very normal to miss people that have passed on but just know that if you both believed and accepted Jesus that you will be together again someday!!!!

Our time on earth is temporary...our time in heaven together is eternal!!!!

your not being oversensitive, your thinking about good memories in your life and he happens to be in alot of them. my grandmother died before any of my children were born i always think to myself how she would have loved to see them. memories bring us joy are whole life don't ever be think it's wrong or oversentive to give the ones we loved the thoughts they deserve.
