Married 1 year (I'm 28, he's 36) - first time for both of us and hopefully the only time.

I am wife # 3. My husband married and divorced twice before we met. He is my first and hopefuly only husband.

My first husband cheated on me all the time. Stayed with him for 9 years trying to see if he would stop. We had two beautiful children together.
Second husband decided after we were married for three years that he did not want my children around anymore.
Third husband still married.

First time - Womanizer, (married 9 years), but had a beautiful daughter
Second Time- Alcoholic, (married 8 years)but had a beautiful son (children 14 years apart)
Third time-Trying to fill a void, married 6 months (my daughter died of cancer)
Fourth Time-He cheated with his boss (married 3 years) (I lost my son in an automobile Accident).
Done.....I'M 49....Each of these marriages I was the one to be responsible, work, and take care of children....
Life has its twists and turns, but it is how you deal with these things that matter. You have carry on....HARD TO DO SOMETIMES!!!!!

First time I was young, 20 I had two wonderful children with him, he loved to cheat and was abusive. Second time I married a "friend" never do that please. I left him after 8 months. I know stupid. Third time will be in december. I finally at 38 met my true love (I finally gave that nice guy a try) So 3rd times a charm right?

First time she divorced me when I was in Vietnam, second married her when I got back to soon we just didn't get along, third she cheated and wouldn't do anything around house. I"m 59 happily married for 24 years now.

My first husband divorced me when the doctors told us I couldn't have children, he wanted a large family.
Second husband tried to kill me, I spent just under a year in hospital due to the abuse.
Third husband, I met on the internet in a chatroom, but he treats me like a princess and loves and cares for me in a way I never thought possible.

married my first husband because I got pregnant then he cheated on me and beat me so i divorced him . 2nd husband I married didn't do anything wrong we were just better friends then lovers 3rd husband I'm still currently married too almost 4years now , age 28

i married my first husband because i wanted to get away from my restrictive home life , i left him because he was very jealous,violent and abusive, i married my second husband because he was my true love and i left him because he was having an affair with my girlfriend ,i had a long term relationship with another male but he is an alcoholic and has lost all interest in life

i think this may happen for the simple reason that some of us are raised not to give up on any thing in life and that includes what ever we think will make us happy. and some think that being alone in our golden years is truly not where it is at. But we are still looking for compatibilty, lloyality, dedication to each other especially in those golden years.

Well my hubby has been married 3 times, (I am #3), we have been happily married for 18 years and have 4 beautiful kids....lol... so I am glad he kept trying....
