Do you have a story about something that your child or grandchild said that had everyone in stiches or embarrassed? When my daughter was 6 we were watching a soap opera where a gorgeous young woman, wearing a bikini and diamond earrings was making out with a hunky young guy. My daughter says to me "I know what he's going to do to her", Oh no, I thought, I was inwardly cringing, when she pipes up with, " He's going to steal her earrings!!".

My 23 yr old sis's husband has been 2 Iraq twice 4 a yr both times. He's in Iraq now so my sister moved here,home, with her inlaws. Me&my family were so excted about her moving home 4 a yr. But everything has changed. My sister cheated on her husband w/his ex-bestfriend &got pregnant w/ this losers child. She wanted 2 keep the baby and stay w/ this loser and told her husband in IRAQ! that she didn't want 2B w/ him anymore & wanted a divorce bc she loved "the loser"! OMG! Meanwhile my whole family, including me became distant 4m her bc we didnt know what 2 say 2 her. Than she decided she didn't want the baby,had an abortion & said she hated "the loser"& would do anything 2 get her husband back. (Meanwhile, my sister told everyone that she had a miscarraige, which every1 still thinks) Now she wants 2B back w/the loser! She just told me today that she's movin back 2 TN bc she hates it here &her fam is all up in her busines. What do I do/say? How do I act/Feel. I'm torn/hurt/concerned?

I have been dating my girlfriend for 8 months. I do not intend on ever having a real serious relationship. I am having fun but we are not mentally compatible. I met her mom this last week end and am very taken with her. She is single and very attrative. I "accidently" left my coat over at her house Friday. I went over there Sun. to get it. We had sex and I want to persue a relationship with her but am not sure what to do regarding my girlfriend. She is a nice girl and I don't want to hurt her feelings( I realize it might be to late for that ). One last thing. I cheated on her with her roommate about 4 months ago. She caught us in the act. I swore I wouldn't do it again and she forgave me. I know if she finds out about me and her mom that it will destroy her.

When love doesn't work out... when you can't forget that someone you love with all your heart.... when you are sure that you two belong to each other... when you just aren't interested in anyone else... but when that love hasn't worked out, when you rarely see each other anymore... when she probably doesn't care about you anymore, not as a romantic interest at least.
When you love, but she doesn't. When fate conspires against the two of you. When you were so close and now you are so far. What can you do?

Should I let go and try to move on, even though I can't?
Should I try a blunt confession that might ruin any possible chances ever after if it fails?
Or should I make a pause, drink a cup of tea, and fight another day when the odds are better? Will the odds be better again?

My mum has got a friend and her son is 16 . I am a little younger then that . Anyway I have known him forever and during the summer holiday i kinda of fell in love ith him well thought i did anyway !! t ended up being just friendship !! But before I knew that i sent him a tet saying i loved him and that i knew he didn't like me etc ... being very passionate !! he answered back saying that he only liked me as a friends etc ...

I don't care about that and i have now got another boyfriend !!! So that's not the problem !!

The problem is he is coming over with his mum and step dad during halfterm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am scared he tells any of my family !!!!!!!!!! or his family !!! And i am going to be so embarrassed when i see him . I no longer like him at all !! But what should i say when he asks me about why i liked him or details of that event ! i mean all the presidents u hve had in history has been involved in some sort of conflicts or other in different parts of the world.whether its a democrat or a republican one, all hve been evil.the worst is this present one, george adolf bush.your history says a lot about americans, lieing to yourselves that u won world war 2, when it was the soviets as even the germans admitted that after the war.lieing about korea and vietnam ,say it was a war of freedom when all you actuly were trying to achive was to get a strong hold on the worlds economy.america is the only country in the world which has military bases in every corner of the world, not even hitler tried to achive that.and if you count all the civillians america has killed in thier history it makes hitler look like a serial child killer.even to this day civillians are getting killed cos of american actions.so i want to know when are u going to pick a president who is not a war monger and lets the world get on with its own problems

my girlfriend and i have been dating for 8 months now and I really love her and want to propose to her but i don't know if she wants me to... we have talked about kids and marriage and have been able to talk to eachother about everything that is going on, I feel that she wants me to propose to her but is there any signs that she may show that would clue me in on proposing? And how important is it to ask the parents before doing so? her parents are separated and she doesn't talk to her father, she lives with her mother. Do i absolutly need to ask her mother first? Also with the ring, is it important to have the actual engagement ring when proposing or is it okay to take her with after the event to pick one that she likes?

i have a friend, who ALWAYS invites her young adult daughter along for activities. I NEVER extend an invite for the daughter, and yet, she always brings her. I don't particularly like the daughter, and neither do my other friends. It is getting to the point where i don't even want to invite my friend, but if she found out we were doing a "gathering" without her (and i know she would find out) she would be heartbroken. Its just so annoying how my friend just can't do anything alone!! any suggestions? do i just cut ties?

My husband and I have been fighting for months and he has a temper and is very verbally abusive. I have asked him to leave and would like a seperation but he says he wont leave because he wants to kiss his daughter good night every night. He makes me feel bad about trying to kick him out he says im taking his daughter away from him. He has told me that he does not love me and has no respect for me and he is staying only for our daughter. Another thing is my parents own the house and i make all the money he quit his job several months ago after not making any money for years at it. See other questions I've asked. Basically, me and my "friend" are getting on extremly well, however, yesterday I ballsed it up by asking for physical contact. He said that it definately wasn't out of the question in the future but he's still numb from his divorce right now. I went on to say, I will get on with my life maybe date a few guys, and try to see us as just friends. He replied, I'm here for you if you need me, friends is good at the moment.
We get on extremly well. We've started meeting up instead of just talking on phone, I think he's concerned about age differnce too. 17 yrs. I really care for him, we make each other laugh and spend hours on the phone. Do you think this will turn into something more or is he giving me the brush off? I don't mind just being a friend, afterall, we have been through both our marriages for 6 yrs now. I've been seperated 10 mths him 18mths. We both have kids, mine young, his nearly teenage. Please help, and please don't shout!!
