and had the relationship work out?
My man has hit me a few times in the past, and he down plays it and said he was sorry, and he wants this to work out (we have a kid togetheraswell) the last incident was in febuary 06.
I have alot of anger for him, and I dont want to have sex wth him or be intimate with him these days and it is because of that.
He says I have certain obligations to perform as wife (get it) but I dont care to be with him like that right now.
I have been a stay home mom for 3 years and due to him NOT wanting me to work (very controlling) I have stayed home and been a wife and mom.
He says if I leave I will not get our son becuase I dont have a job and that I should sign him over to him.
He works out of town so I said I would get him, I dont know what to do.
Can this be worked out?
We did councelling and it didnt work.
Can a relation survive a few incidents of domestic battery?

Mind you, I don't mind donating to causes, but one that gets me absolutely miffed is donating $ to girls that get pregnant!

One time a lady asked me could she have some $ for this cause.
I told her These girls have to keep THEIR LEGS CLOSED, AND NOT HAVE FUN, AT THE TAXPAYERS EXPENSE. I told her I use caution and don't want anyone footing the bill for my child, as I don't fool around.

** I am not talking about girls that got pregnant through rape or incest. That is different.**

I have an 18 year old neice I live with, she is a sweet girl, but is driving myself and my sister out of our minds with the constant wanting to use our vehicles and "borrow" $2.00 to $7.00 a day ,not including gas she uses from the cars. She needs to find a way to make at least spending money , no one is asking to pay for groceries or household bills. It is very hard to get her motivated to do most things . The ADHD makes it compounded. Anyone with this type of experience or any great ideas please by all means . Let me know. Thanks in advance.

I have heard people say it's bad form on the first date, but I think knowing about someone's past relationships helps understand them a lot, and lets me know their patterns a little too.

My ex and I started dating almost a year ago. I got with him for all the worng reasons. We broke up so many times in the past yr. he has seven gfs at a time but every time he tries you get back with me he will dumped them all for me. He was put in the physc ward twice last yr because I didn’t love him anymore. Now he has a new gf that he said he loves…but in drama practice yesterday he grabbed me and wouldn’t let e get off his lap. About 2 months ago, my boyfriend and I of 3 years broke up, we never quit seeing eachother, still slept together and weren't really "broken up". But then 2 weeks ago, I was raped by a black guy (I'm white) and Chris (ex) was the first one I called. Things were great between us, and we were together together. The second part of my question: I was very explicit with my ex when I told him that meeting up with that woman would end our relationship...and that I did not approve at all. Of course its going to make me uncomfortable given the whole affair. Since learning of her return, I asked him several times if they have spoken/met up. For every time (over 6 months) he has answered NO and even become upset at me for asking. I have since found he has spoken on the phone and met up with her.

When my ex made the decision to talk and meet with this woman he carried on a 2 year long affair with (prior to meeting me), did he make a choice? Is it a choice when you know the consequences? He argues he made no choice over me. I argue he did.

What do you think?

I argued that he did. He has said that this wasn't a choice. Yet, when you know all the potential consequences of an action, aren't you making a "choice" when you chose the action?

Alright, guys, help me understand something...

Every guy I have ever known has said that they like very little drama & low-maintenance girls. However, 95% of these guys wind up with girls who are high-maintenance and have them on a short leash.

So, guys, ultimately - which is it low-maintenance or high-maintenance?

Through out our 6 years together we have been through it all. From him almost dying in a car crash, to his family disowning him for being with me. Back in july he started acting up. He broke up with me to see other girls. However he was still coming over to my house everyday and called me at least 3 times a day. We got back together in Auguest. He has always been there for me when things get crazy, but however he is 22 almost 23 and won't make a move to improve his future. He just started college but make no effort to attend his classes. He has had number of jobs and he quites them all. Should I keep supporting him and stay with him or consider this relationship moving nowhere?
