I would like to have at least 2... My grandmother had nine kids, but you have to remember that the role of women 30,40,50 yrs ago was not the one nowadays..today we are treated on the same level as men if not above them.. we have proven what we can do and women today are putting aside the most important role of their lives and that is to become a mother. We get so involved in our careers we forget that with out women, men couldnt have kids.

Just a couple, but I do work with a guy and they have 11 children! I could never do that ~ let alone afford to raise 11 kids!

hey darlin'
Thats a lot of kids lol. But my moms side was very similiar and my dads side had 3 kids ( and all of them had trouble concieving ). But to me and my lover, we agree that its amazing to have children and be surrounded when your older with kids and grand kids, that way youll never be loney. It always hurt me when id see my grandparents on my dads side and how loney they were ( basically 2 grandkids. ) soo if we are able to have babies ( keep your fingers crossed for us ) then we would love atleast 4! But never one, thats just too loney for them and yourselves.
by the way onc e you have one you prob. would love anotyher inside. But if you feel that way about children then perhaps you shouldnt have any.

back then, things were cheaper, and the times were different. Big families were so that one kid could help take care of another one, and to help do chores- particularly if there was a farm or ranch. I only had two, who are already grown up now...now it's our time (hubby and me)...
